As you sit by the pool and sweat this summer, one book you should be reading is The Impact of Global Warming on Texas (University of Texas Press, June 2011, second edition). This book, written by a group of Texas academics, is a sober analysis of our state’s vulnerability to climate change — and the things we can do about it.

It is a particularly appropriate read as we suffer through the hellish summer of 2011. While it is unknown exactly how much human activities are contributing to this summer’s unpleasant weather, one lesson from the book is clear: Get used to it. The weather of the 21st century will be very much like the hot and dry weather of 2011.

Climate alarmism is a religion comprised of a bunch of miserable little suicidal shits who hate their lives, and are fantasizing that something bad will happen so that everyone else will go down with them.

NRA-ILA reports that the Obama Administration is expected to sign the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty soon after it is opened for signature on June 3. On April 2 the United Nations General Assembly voted 153-4 to pass the Arms Trade Treaty, with the United States voting in favor and several countries abstaining. According to a May 16 Amnesty International article, a senior US diplomat, Assistant Secretary of State Thomas Countryman, has confirmed the U.S. government will be quick to sign the new treaty. In the article, Countryman said that the United States would sign the ATT “in the very near future.”

From reading the news, the left appears to have determined how to stabilize the climate – like it was during the Irish Potato Famine and The Black Death.

Apparently, if all men spent their days packing fudge and driving hybrids, there would be no more bad weather, conflict, children, disease (expect for perhaps HIV) or crime.
