For the first time since the 1990s, Congress might be on track to pass legislation aimed at reducing gun violence in the United States. And it’s because folks in Washington are starting to understand that the rest of the country isn’t going to sit by and let them ignore this issue. Your voices are the reason we have a chance to win this debate. The American people expect and demand a yes or no vote.

No mention that murders are down 50% since the 1990s. The goal is to scare people into submission.

But this is a critical moment. It’s been almost four months since the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, thousands more Americans have died at the hands of gun violence, and time is on the side of those who would prefer that we do nothing.

Obama demonizing anyone who wants to see an increase in school security. The last thing he wants is safe kids which can’t be used for propaganda.

We want to make sure that your voices are impossible to ignore. So we’re asking people from all over the country to speak out online in concert — all at the same time. Will you join us?

Pledge to speak out about the need to reduce gun violence.

It’s easy to participate. Over the next few days, anyone can sign up to tweet or share a message to Facebook. Through that time, we’ll gather up as many people as we can. Then we’ll make sure that all these individual messages get posted together in the same moment for maximum effect.

That wave of social media will get seen by millions and millions of people.

Gladys Zimmerman writes, “April 11, 2012 will be forever remembered by the Zimmerman family as the day the justice system failed us as Americans, and as a consequence an innocent man was arrested for a crime he did not commit, solely to placate the masses.”

She writes that a “false narrative” of the case has been widely publicized based on the “little evidence” made available to the public.

“It is astounding that despite the vast amount of information and evidence now available that support George’s self-defense claim, the majority of the media avoids its publication,” Gladys Zimmerman writes.

She said the media, along with social media, has “made it their prerogative” to judge and sentence her son ever since the case was made public.

Gladys ended the letter by thanking supporters and promising that her son’s trial will not disappoint.

“The truth will finally be revealed to many, but to some who have always seen through the narrative – the truth George always told will [not] be ‘revealed,’ but rather ‘confirmed,'” she wrote.

Imagine an America without cable news.

No one would worry about CO2. It is a 100% man-made form of mass insanity.

Americans are more likely to be hit by lightning than shot by an assault rifle, yet cable news has driven paralyzing fear into millions.

Almost everyone would understand that Barack Obama is not even remotely suitable to be president, except for the endless stream of propaganda from cable news corrupting their thought process. Candy Crowley went so far as to actually tamper with the election process, in collusion with the White House.

Turn off the TV and regain your sanity. Or at least keep it tuned to the Fox Soccer Channel, like I do.

they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

The word cling implies that someone is trying to take something away from you.

Obama is already confiscating guns in New York, and he is only a few weeks into his second term.
