One of Obama’s primary goals is to convince people that violence is spiraling out of control in the US. In fact, it is doing the exact opposite.
The murder rate in the US has dropped by almost 50% over the last 20 years.
The violent crime rate is also in sharp decline
Making Americans afraid of each other, is top priority in Obama’s message of hope and change.
You are 100 times more likely to be killed by a car in the US than by a rifle.
Obama is buying huge numbers of automatic rifles for his paramilitary, while desperately seeking to take them away from the public. This is because they are the only useful defense against tyranny.
As soon as Obama’s “bi-partisan” background check law is in place, guns will be confiscated based on illegal medical snooping, facebook postings, political orientation, voter registration, military history, and any other excuse they can use. It is already happening in New York.
They will say that they are “cleaning the guns off the streets” and the press will cheer them on – as part of the permanent solution to the political dissent problem.
Obama knows that he can’t confiscate the guns all at once, so he plans to do it a little at a time – and get people used to paramilitary raids in their neighborhoods.
Only legal guns will be targeted. No effort will be made to remove illegal guns from gangs or improve school security, because they are politically necessary for keeping the populace scared and compliant.

PIOMAS claims that Arctic ice is thinning, but they are wrong. There is more 2+ year old ice than four years ago. There is more 3+ year old ice than two years ago, and there is more 4+ year old ice than last year.
Bottom line is that the Arctic is rapidly returning to pre-2007 conditions. Very bad news for the team.
