Almost all of the gun crime in the US is committed with illegal handguns. Democrats are making zero effort to do anything about that, and instead are going after rifle confiscation – despite the fact that you are more likely to be killed by a hammer, fist or baseball bat than by a rifle.

All of the initial police reports out of Sandy Hook were that the children were killed with handgun bullets, and that four handguns had been found. Later in the day, the handguns miraculously morphed into a rifle. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

State and Federal officials now say now that four handguns, not two, and only handguns were recovered inside the school.

The reason that Democrats are going after rifles, is because they are the only effective deterrent to an overbearing government. A handgun is useless against a paramilitary. Dems are doing nothing to clean up Chicago’s illegal handguns, because they provide very useful propaganda value. What they want to do is confiscate legally owned rifles.

Gun confiscation propagandist Mark Kelley says that he purchased an AR-15 to give to someone else. This is a Federal offense, and is the first question they ask on background check forms.

Bloomberg plans to disarm New York women, and give police lots of firepower.

A New York police officer was convicted on Tuesday in a bizarre plot to kidnap, torture, kill and eat women.

The officer, Gilberto Valle, 28, could be sentenced to life in prison for one count of kidnapping conspiracy.

The verdict came on the 12th day of his trial in United States District Court in Manhattan.

The officer was also convicted of illegally gaining access to a law enforcement database that prosecutors said he had used to conduct research on potential victims. He faces up to five years in prison on that count, prosecutors said.

The trial had drawn widespread attention in part because it involved a police officer’s bizarre and disturbing behavior, but also because it highlighted some of the darkest corners of the Internet, where fetishists hide behind Web identities like Girlmeat Hunter, which Officer Valle used, and engage in role-playing fantasy about cannibalism and sexual torture.

Mark Kelley spent $2,000 purchasing  a rifle, which he now claims he planned all along to turn over to the police? In other words, he planned to buy a rifle before his own actions made that impossible, got caught, and then lied about it.

It appears that the left has fully adopted Obama’s approach of hypocrisy and lying about everything.
