Tomorrow’s hearing is occurring in near record cold. After 25 years of unprecedented warming, it seems only sensible to turn off the heat – to keep the Congressmen safe from global warming.

Cook is attempting to confuse his readers with an incredibly facile and incorrect set of arguments. Snow falls in the winter, winter snow cover is increasing, and the last five years have been the snowiest five year period on record.

Hansen is well below scenario C, but his predictions are even more useless than they seem. He has been jacking temperatures up by 0.10 to 0.15 degrees every month – by making up fake Arctic temperatures.

But it looks like that game is over too. All of the Arctic warming since the 1970s has collapsed in recent weeks.
