Lefties like Piers Morgan have visions of gunfights in their heads, probably from watching westerns when they were small children. Unfortunately their minds never progressed past the infantile stage.

Shooters target gun free zones because they know that they can kill (for a while) with impunity. Chicago has lots of shootings, because the bad guys know that can act with impunity. The citizens are disarmed and the police have no interest in intervening.

Piers Morgan displays world beating stupidity when he discusses shootings. He is afraid that armed citizens would have led to a gunfight in the theatre in Aurora.

A sane person would understand that James Holmes went into the theatre because he knew that it was a gun-free zone, and that a possible shootout is still a much better scenario than an armed madman who faces no opposition.

Biden is trying to convince people that he is not planning to wreck the second amendment, which is exactly what he is planning to do. The Feinstein Bill is the first half of the plan.

It bans the sale of most guns, and makes it illegal to transfer them. It also creates a national registry. This means that when you die, your guns go to Obama – and the US becomes free of any gun which would be an effective deterrent to government tyranny.

It also gives the IRS and other federal agencies a list of names to harass. Call up your congressmen today, while you still have one.

A couple of days ago I showed how Hansen had erased the global cooling scare. Mosher complained that I was comparing Hansen’s global temps with National Academy of Sciences northern hemisphere temperatures.

So here is the comparison which Mosher wanted, which shows how Hansen tampered with Northern Hemisphere temperatures. Black is the 1975 National Academy of Sciences version, and red is Hansen’s version. Hansen cooled the 1930s by about 0.3C, and cooled the entire period from 1895-1960. He wiped out half of the warming from 1880 to 1940.

The graph is normalized to +0.6 and -0.4, as the y-scale is not exactly linear in the 1975 graph. This makes Hansen look not quite as bad as if I had normalized it to zero.

Democrats believe that children are permanently traumatized by pink bubble guns in the hands of six year old girls, so they are sending marines with guns to invade South Carolina. This is part of Obama’s Hope To Change Into A Military Dictatorship Program

About 150 Marines and sailors will hold “realistic urban training” in Jasper County later this week as part of pre-deployment training.

The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit will train within Ridgeland town limits Thursday through Saturday. Times and exact locations for the training are not being announced, according to 2nd Lt. Gerard R. Farao.

“The training could take place at any time during those days,” he said Saturday.

Residents will likely see and hear military vehicles and possibly see aircraft, Farao said. The Marines and sailors likely will be stationed on ships, and the training is part of a certification for deployment to Mediterranean and African shores, he said.

Participants will be in uniform and carry weapons. Some exercises will take place at night.

Over the past few weeks we have had military invasions of Miami, Houston and Chicago, drones targeting Americans in California, and now the Marines invading South Carolina. Not to mention the 7,000 DHS assault riles and 1.6 billion rounds of ammo.

The unprecedented event occurs once every 150 years, like clockwork. So the Washington Post did some brilliant analysis and determined that the frequency is increasing, based on the fact that there has been no change in frequency.

Bottom line: A major surface ice sheet melting event occurred in Greenland coupled with highly unusual temperatures. A similar event occurred in 1889 and, thus, links to manmade climate change are not yet conclusive. On the other hand, a pattern of pronounced warming in the Arctic in recent decades and other indicators such as melting sea ice, glacier melt, etc. suggest manmade climate change increased the likelihood of an event of this magnitude.
