President Obama is hoping to make the climate colder and snowier. He believes that he can do this by simply ruining the US economy – and sending lots of money to terror sponsoring nations in the middle east.
Arab oil is much better for the environment than Canadian oil.
Last winter, the East Coast righteous were angry that climate skeptics had ruined the heavy snows which they remembered from their childhood.
This year they are angry that climate skeptics are to blame for heavy snow, which they no longer remember from their childhood.
Apparently climate skeptics cause 97% memory loss amongst the faithful.

The snow is getting so deep in southwestern Colorado, that Pine Beetles are in danger of asphyxiating. Hopefully the new Secretary of the Interior will quickly declare them to be an endangered species.
The President believes that climate is the #1 Homeland Security issue, and DHS has 7,000 fully automatic rifles and 1.6 billion rounds of ammo.

Obama is going to announce this week that he is taking control of the weather. This is exciting news, because it means that the weather moving forward will always be like it was in 1927.
But it begs the question – why didn’t he take control of the weather last year and stop Sandy?

We keep hearing about record snow in Connecticut, but I was there two years ago and the snow was much deeper then. The image below is between Danbury and Newtown, along my bicycle commute. It looks like 18-24 inches of snow. During February 2011, there was closer to 30-36 inches.

As reported in our last alert, the New Jersey Assembly Law & Public Safety Committee is scheduled to hold hearings on a package of 24 gun bills on Wednesday, February 13 beginning at 10 a.m. in the State House Annex, Committee Room 11, 4th Floor, Trenton, NJ (directions here).
The worst of these bills have the effect of banning all rifle-barreled shotguns, numerous rifles and handguns, most rifle ammunition, and magazines that hold over 10 rounds.Ammunition sales would be severely restricted, logged and reported to the State Police, and internet and catalog sales would be banned.
Unaccountable health practitioners (including nurses, social workers, and marriage counselors!) would be turned into spies with the power to effectively suspend Second Amendment rights and have firearms seized. And the exercise of the Constitutional right to own firearms would be conditioned on proof of having firearms safety training. And that’s just the beginning (see detailed bill analysis here).
