Now, with France locked in a battle with extremists in Mali; with al-Qaeda-linked groups carrying out a massive hostage taking in Algeria, and with Britain, Germany, and France telling their citizens to leave Libya because of an unspecified threat, the man many considered mad may not have been so crazy after all.

Feinstein: NRA is ‘venal’

Feinstein, however, said Sunday it boils down to one question: “Does government have an obligation to protect those children?”

Left-wing nutcases are incapable of grasping the fact that everyone wants to protect children. Placing children in a building with a “Gun-Free Zone” sign outside is absolutely insane. It is an invitation for psychos to kill. No one would deposit their money in an unprotected bank – so why does Feinstein want to continue placing children in danger like that?

Feinstein displays the thought process of a two year old. She imagines that the NRA is some evil organization, when in fact the NRA represents the parts of the country which are determined that our children will have a future in a free and prosperous America.

There are so many things wrong with this paragraph, it is difficult to know where to start.

First – winter snow extent has been increasing, and four of the five greatest snow extents have been since the year 2000. Does Dr. Robinson have trouble understanding his own graph?

But even dumber is confusing snow depth and extent.

The meaning of record snow extent is that snow fell in more places than ever before, not that a few places had deeper snow. Extent is a measure of area, not thickness. The reason for the record snow extent was because cold air was coming further south than normal.

Do you have to prove that you are a completely incompetent to get a job in the global warming business? These people are getting everything exactly backwards.

We are constantly being bombarded with claims that western winters are warming towards 12 degrees and that skiing is doomed.

DENVER — A study of two Rocky Mountain ski resorts says climate change will mean shorter seasons and less snow on lower slopes.

The study by two Colorado researchers says Aspen Mountain in Colorado and Park City in Utah will see dramatic changes even with a reduction in carbon emissions, which fuel climate change.

If carbon emissions increase, the average temperature at Park City will be 10.4 degrees warmer by 2100, and there likely will be no snowpack, according to the study. Skiing at Aspen, with an average temperature 8.6 degrees higher than now, will be marginal.

The key to the survival of the larger ski areas in the Rockies will be adaptation, according to the study by Williams and Brian Lazar, a scientist at Boulder-based Stratus Consulting. The researchers said they expect many U.S. ski areas to follow the lead of resorts in the European Alps already dealing with snow shortages by storing water to use for snowmaking.

I was looking at a news story last week, and a reader comment mentioned that this blog was a good source of information about data tampering at NASA and NOAA. Someone else responded with a comment that Steven Goddard is a birther and this site must be avoided.

I reported that Obama’s close associate and biography literary agent, listed him as being born in Kenya for 17 years, from 1991 to 2007. This should raise giant red flags in any rational person’s mind, but the only thing the left understands is protecting their position.

These people are The Borg. No independent or disruptive thoughts are permitted. Obama was either lying about his birthplace in 1991, or he is lying about it now. Either way he is an unpatriotic liar. Is anyone actually stupid enough to believe that his agent could have accidentally made this mistake, and that he could have accidentally overlooked a huge error like this in his bio – for one third of his life?
