Stunning Glacial Retreat During The Coldest Year Ever

During Hansen’s coldest year ever, Alaskan glaciers were retreating at a record rate of one inch every eight minutes, or almost five metres per day.

Glaciers were retreating much faster during the coldest year ever than they are during the hottest year ever. James Blalog of course doesn’t bother to mention this to his audiences, because his whole story would fall apart if he told his audiences the truth.

How Global Warming Made Sandy Worse

Our top government experts and politicians have repeated over and over again that global warming raised sea level in New York, and that made the storm surge from Sandy worse. Obama implied this in his State Of The Soviet Union address.

Had any of the experts ever looked at the actual data, they would have known that tide gauges show a linear slope since they were installed over 150 years ago – long before the hockey stick kicked in. There is no global warming footprint.

Data and Station Information for NEW YORK ( THE BATTERY)

During the last ice age, the East Coast got pushed upwards by a huge mass of ice depressing the interior of Canada and raising the surrounding regions. Now that the ice has melted in Canada, the East Coast is sinking back to its original elevation. The apparent rise in sea level has nothing to do with global warming. If it were global, we would see the effect on the Pacific Coast as well – and we don’t.

Rewriting The Past At NASA’s Ministry Of Truth

In 1999, James Hansen published this map – showing that most of the US had cooled between 1950 and 1998.

in the U.S. there has been little temperature change in the past 50 years, the time of rapidly increasing greenhouse gases — in fact, there was a slight cooling throughout much of the country

NASA GISS: Science Briefs: Whither U.S. Climate?

I can’t generate the equivalent current map, because the GISS web site has been broken for two weeks – but Hansen’s current US temperature graph shows a strong warming trend from 1950-1998.

Five Years Later – Australia’s Permanent Drought Depens

In 2008, the BOM’s top climate scientist announced that Australia is in a permanent drought.

January 4, 2008

This drought may never break

IT MAY be time to stop describing south-eastern Australia as gripped by drought and instead accept the extreme dry as permanent, one of the nation’s most senior weather experts warned yesterday.

“Perhaps we should call it our new climate,” said the Bureau of Meteorology’s head of climate analysis, David Jones.

Not quite as stupid as the UK’s chief scientist who said that we would all have to move to Antarctica, or Obama’s top science adviser who said that Arctic winters will soon be ice-free.

The BBC’s Nick Bryant reports from Sydney that the river in Bundaberg is already above the flood levels witnessed in 2010, and meteorologists fear it could rise another metre, reaching levels not seen in 70 years.

Obama The Hurricane Expert

In his inauguration address, Barry gave the traditional Presidential hurricane report

We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children and future generations.  (Applause.)  Some may still deny the overwhelming judgment of science, but none can avoid the devastating impact of raging fires and crippling drought and more powerful storms.

Obama being the detail oriented the person that he is, is no doubt is aware that we are coming up on 7,500 days since a category 5 hurricane hit the US and 2,750 days since a major hurricane hit the US.

Let Me Be Clear

ScreenHunter_42 Jan. 26 17.41

Let me be clear. I understand that I can’t take your guns away in one fell swoop, so I am going to do it in stages. First I will sucker you into thinking the bill won’t pass, so that you will be complacent. Then I will sucker you into registering your guns. Then after a couple more well timed mass shootings – that is when I will come take your guns.
