Missing Heat Attacks Denver

Climate experts say that Colorado is going to warm 13 degrees, which was the temperature at the start of the game.

The game-time temperature for the Broncos hosted the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC divisional playoffs was 13 degrees, according to National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Kalina, making it the coldest playoff game in Broncos history.

Hi all

Well I have my own article on where the heck is global warming? We are asking that here in Boulder where we have broken records the past two days for the coldest days on record. We had 4 inches of snow. The high the last 2 days was below 30F and the normal is 69F, and it smashed the previous records for these days by 10F. The low was about 18F and also a record low, well below the previous record low. This is January weather (see the Rockies baseball playoff game was canceled on saturday and then played last night in below freezing weather).

The fact is that we can’t account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can’t.

What Should I Do?

I spent last winter outside Baltimore and this winter outside Denver. Who should I support????

I don’t like football, so I went to the range with my new hunting bow for an hour and am now watching a replay of Aston Villa vs. Southampton. I already know that there aren’t going to be any more goals.  ROFL

New Legal Precedent From DC!

DC attorney general says it is now legal to break the law as long as you don’t physically injure anyone!

The attorney general for the District of Columbia, Irvin Nathan, announced Friday that he will not press charges against NBC News’ David Gregory nor any employee of the broadcast network for violating the city’s gun laws. Violation of the city’s firearms laws carry a maximum $1,000 fine and one year in jail.

Mr. Nathan wrote to an attorney representing Mr. Gregory and NBC News, Lee Levine of Levine Sullivan Koch & Schulz, LLP, that, “OAG has made this determination, despite the clarity of the violation of this important law, because under all of the circumstances here a prosecution would not promote public safety in the District of Columbia nor serve the best interests of the people of the District to whom this office owes its trust.”

MILLER: David Gregory gets off scot free – Washington Times

Of course this only applies to members of the Politburo. Peasants and servicemen have to abide by a different and harsher set of laws.

One of the 15 charged was James Brinkley, an Army veteran and federal employee, who was arrested and jailed while legally transporting his unloaded Glock 22 to the range with the two standard 15-round magazines that came with the pistol.

D.C. Assistant Attorney General Rachel Bohlen offered Mr. Brinkley a deal to plead guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm in return for unsupervised probation. He refused to falsely admit guilt.

Current Decade Is The Fourth Hottest In The US Since 1920

[update – this graph is wrong, the current decade is #2 not #4 will update later.]

According to the measured thermometer data, the hottest decade in the US was the 1930s – followed by the 1940s and 1950s. Despite a hot 2012, the current decade only ranks #4.

NOAA : Turning A Cooling Trend Into A Strong Warming Trend

Raw NOAA US temperature data shows that US temperatures have been cooling for 90 years, and that 2012 is tied with 1921 at 55.3 degrees.

NOAA then takes this data and massages it into a strong warming trend, with 2012 much hotter than any other year. These government scientists are truly talented people.

They get together with a few of their global warming pals and agree that it is OK to turn a cooling trend into a warming trend, and then make huge press releases intended to alter policy. That is called peer-reviewed settled science.

“Sitting back and doing nothing is just not good policy anymore”

An Ohio school district has chosen to take the NRA’s advice and protect their children.

MONTPELIER, Ohio — Janitors at Montpelier Exempted Village Schools are equipped with brooms, sponges, and dustpans to keep classrooms, corridors, and bathrooms clean and tidy.

Within the next several months, the custodial staff will be toting handguns as they carry out their daily duties in the school district buildings.

In reaction to last month’s deadly shooting rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, the board of education of this Williams County school district Wednesday night unanimously voted for four janitors to carry handguns on the K-12 campus.

School officials say having armed personnel, which may be a first for any school system in Ohio, is designed to thwart incidents of violence and prevent what happened in Newtown, Conn., from occurring in Montpelier.

“Sitting back and doing nothing and hoping it doesn’t happen to you is just not good policy anymore. There is a need for schools to beef up their security measures,” Superintendent Jamie Grime told The Blade on Thursday.

We Have Never Had A Civilian Perform A Heart Transplant

Diet and exercise prevents millions of cases of heart disease every year, but no civilian has ever performed a heart transplant. Lefties would tell us that means diet and exercise are useless.

Compare vs this logic.

Ed Schultz: “We’ve Never Had a Civilian Stop a Shooting” – Leah Barkoukis

The claim is incorrect, as civilians have stopped lots of shootings. But the real problem is that the logic is flawed. Armed citizens prevent millions of crimes a year, because criminals are afraid to commit them. How many banks and homes would be robbed without armed protection? No one wants gun battles – we want to deter them.

Shooters always target gun-free zones, because they know that no one is armed. Is Ed Schultz a complete moron?

Suzanna Hupp could have stopped the Luby’s shooting and saved her parents, but Texas law prohibited her from carrying a gun.
