The rationale for printing the New York gun map was :

“in the aftermath of Sandy Hook, parents need to know which houses have guns, so they can tell their kids not to play there”

The shooting occurred in a school gun-free zone by a person who first murdered the gun owner.  How does a map of legal gun owners relate to Sandy Hook? Your brains have to be pretty scrambled to make that connection.

If a parent is concerned about their children’s friends, perhaps they could take the time to talk to their friend’s parents?

No assault rifles were used in the murder of 50 million children in the US, but Obama insists that your tax money is used to finance this genocide.

All of the recent mass murderers were on psychiatric medications. The communist news network and White House aren’t interested in stopping murders, they just want an excuse to take guns away from other Americans.

But where, I’d like to ask my colleagues in the media, is the reporting about the psychiatric medications the perpetrator – who had been under treatment for mental-health problems – may have been taking? After all, Mark and Louise Tambascio, family friends of the shooter and his mother, were interviewed on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” during which Louise Tambascio told correspondent Scott Pelley: “I know he was on medication and everything, but she homeschooled him at home cause he couldn’t deal with the school classes sometimes, so she just homeschooled Adam at home. And that was her life.” And here, Tambascio tells ABC News, “I knew he was on medication, but that’s all I know.”

Criminals can also call up and find out who is home, which makes it easier to determine what type of crime they want to commit.

“Criminals are always looking for opportunity and words travels through the grapevine—burglars trade secrets and when you see something like that in the paper, that’s is something burglar’s are going to talk about,” Portenier said. “‘Did you see in the paper where all these people have guns and their addresses?’ and that kind of stuff, they’ll say.”

While some burglars may use the newspaper’s information to avoid guns, Portenier said others will target homes with guns. The newspaper’s decision could even lead to legally-owned guns proliferating on the street, he said.
