Electric cars have to carry large, heavy, expensive environmentally destructive batteries which run out of electricity quickly, take a long time to recharge, and have a short lifespan.

I propose the following engineering solution. Drive a cheap, gasoline or diesel powered car.

The government should mandate that everyone must purchase an Obamacar or face taxes penalties taxes . These amazing vehicles can go 30 miles on battery power, and only require three hours to recharge – assuming you can find a 240 volt outlet.

The big climate news from various governmental organizations this week has been :

• Temperatures are warming faster than predicted
• Sea level is rising faster than predicted
• Sandy was the worst storm in history
• 2012 is the hottest year in US history

None of these claims have any basis in fact. It appears that a decision has been made to force the global warming narrative, in order to soften up the US citizenry for what comes next.

DOHA, Nov 28 (Reuters) – Sea levels are rising 60 percent faster than U.N. projections, threatening low-lying areas from Miami to the Maldives, a study said on Wednesday.

The 2007 IPCC maximum estimate was 59 cm by 2100. Even the most bloated University of Colorado numbers are only half that, at 3.1 mm/year.

The report, issued during U.N. talks in Qatar on combating climate change, also said temperatures were creeping higher in line with U.N. scenarios, rejecting hopes the rate had been exaggerated.
