No doubt we would all be much happier freezing and starving in the dark, but I can personally attest to having survived climate change much greater than even the most mendacious BS which Romm has come up with to date.
When I attended Arizona State University quite a few decades ago, I moved there from the mountains of New Mexico. In a matter of three hours I saw climate change of 25 degrees F.
Granted, it was difficult dealing with all the scarcely clothed coeds, river floats down the Salt River (with scarcely clothed coeds) endless keggers (with scarcely clothed coeds) and after-midnight basketball games in the frat house parking lot. But somehow I managed to survive.
Did I mention that there were a lot of gorgeous women in bikinis? ASU is the university of choice for climate refugees from Illinois and Wisconsin .
NSIDC claims that the modern satellite record began in 1979. This is a pretty marginal claim, given that we have accurate satellite data going back a decade earlier.
But 1979 is a very convenient year for them – because it was the coldest year in the Arctic temperature record.
By starting in 1979, they are able to produce all kinds of seemingly suitable funding graphs.

POSTED: 6:05 p.m. EST, November 8, 2006(CNN) — Democrats promised Wednesday to lead the country in a new direction after winning control of the House for the first time in 12 years in midterm elections.
By early Wednesday, Democrats had picked up at least 29 seats; they needed 15 to capture a majority in the House. Two Democratic seats in Georgia that were targeted by Republicans remained too close to call.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-California, is now poised to become the first female speaker of the House.
Pelosi promised to lead the nation in a new direction “in partnership, not in partisanship.”
Michelle likes living high off the hog at taxpayer expense, so Barry doesn’t want anyone to remember the damage he has done – and has put a new fraudulent graph out.
Besides failing to take responsibility for the disaster him and his fellow dems created, he pulled some tricks in creating the graph.
The Obama campaign has been running the ad all over the internet. When I saw it, something about it caught my eye.
Upon closer inspection, I discovered what it was. The Y-axis distance from 0 to -200,000 jobs is 15 pixels, but the distance from 0 to +200,000 is 20 pixels.
What the Obama campaign has done – in a very subtle way – is to visually and fraudulently inflate their job creation record by a third.
And they thought we were too stupid to notice.

Probably not. The graph below shows the Louisiana tide gauge trend line in green, and the Louisiana satellite trend line in red. Almost all of the apparent “sea level rise” in Louisiana is actually due to land subsidence.
