Obama somehow suckered Silicon Valley into voting for him once, but his recent attacks on venture capitalism (and capitalism in general) have fully unmasked his desire to kill Silicon Valley’s roots.

Silicon Valley exists because of private venture capital, which has led to the creation of tens of millions of jobs in the US and abroad. China and India have been lifted out of poverty due to new technologies funded by venture capitalists in the US and Europe.

I am a founder of two venture capital funded companies, one of which was nearly funded by Hermann Hauser – the guy behind ARM computer in Cambridge, UK.  ARM is the processor in all Android devices (and millions of other pieces of electronics.)  Hermann’s VC money has ultimately led to employment for millions of people.

Left up to the government and people with Obama’s understanding of economics, we would all still be using government hand picked vacuum tubes – and China and India would still be starving.

Obama’s vision of technology is Solyndra.  Completely useless and very expensive. How many people did Solyndra lay off? Obama is a dangerous idiot.

Suzanne Goldenberg writes that one of Gleick’s unnamed buddies says that he didn’t commit forgery, and that his fraud and theft was all good – because it helped stifle debate.

As of 1999, the 1990s were much cooler than the 1930s. People who lived through both decades accepted that assessment. Then Hansen adjusted corrupted the temperature data, and instantaneously the downwards trend was converted into a trend of unprecedented warming – unlike anything humans had ever experienced.

But for some reason, no one living in the US noticed the catastrophic unprecedented warming – until it appeared inside Hansen’s computer. It must have been the lamest catastrophe in history. Since 1999, US temperatures have been declining.

Hansen said this last year.

Significant climatic “extreme events” were now occurring over 10 to 15 per cent of the planet annually, whereas between 1950 to 1980 they occurred over less than 1 per cent. So in places like Texas this year, Moscow last year, and Europe in 2003, the climate change is so big that they are undeniable.

This is a typical case of Hansen fabricating numbers. A 1974 CIA report said the exact opposite.

Hansen seems to be in charge of rewriting history at NASA. All of the climate fraudsters are depending on his efforts.
