Global warming has made life the tropics unbearable, and the great beasts of Africa are migrating to Greenland.

Sadly, these poor beasts are unable to forget Hansen’s forecasts for ice sheet collapse.

So how did they do?

Nick Grahame, Chief Forecaster at the Met Office offered some relief from the poor summer, saying: “The weekend weather is rather mixed with sunshine but some rain for all. However, much better weather is forecast throughout next week. Looking further ahead, September is likely to bring settled conditions.”

Following on from a record-breaking wet summer in 2007, heavy rain this August has resulted in more floods in many areas of the country. Thanks to an acceleration of its research and development programme, the Met Office is now able to pinpoint extreme rainfall more accurately.

But it wasn’t enough for them to completely fail their summer forecast. They immediately jumped into a brain-dead winter forecast.

The climate models are programmed to predict warming. They are completely useless and yet the Met Office continues to stiff British taxpayers with purchases of faster GIGO hardware.

“The Arctic Ocean sea ice has been declining since summer solstice at rate of 170,000 square kilometres per day. For example, over the last weekend Friday to Sunday 25-27 June the sea ice area decreased 516,000 square kilometres, which equals at 170,000 km2 per day. The highest daily melting was 25.6 at 208,000 km2 of which 112,000 km2 occurred above the normal 1979-2008 melting.  At current rate of 170,000 km2 per day all the ice would melt away by 8th August.”

My cable was down for three days this week, and finally got fixed yesterday afternoon.

Today at 10 minutes into the second overtime, Comcast went out completely in the neighborhood. It came back on just before the penalty shootout started.

And for the final insult, the screen froze for about three seconds at the exact moment Drogba put his foot on the ball. A message popped up saying “Your recording has ended”

Hansen completely rewrote US temperature history in the year 2000 to hide the decline since the 1930s – but it didn’t stop there. He is continuing to corrupt the temperature record further.
