The Stool Pigeon In The Ice Box

I was on my way home from Antarctica where I’d just spent a week with Al Gore and 148 environmentalists, scientists, researchers, and entrepreneurs to learn about the stark realities of climate change. Antarctica, Earth’s air conditioner, is the canary in the coal mine for global warming. Meaning, if the climate at the south pole is changing, so too is the rest of the planet. For instance, when land ice that is miles thick melts rapidly and falls into the ocean, sea levels rise. And when sea levels go up, the threat we face are storm surges, coastal floods, and the possibility of drinking water for billions of people becoming contaminated with salt water. Yuck.

What Jason forgot to mention is that temperatures in Antarctica were far below normal and sea ice was far above normal when he was there. He didn’t see any climate change, wouldn’t know it if he saw it, and is just spouting propaganda for Al Gore.

Most of his trip was 10-20C below normal temperatures, like Jan 22 below.

They were in the Ross Sea on February 8, with a huge excess in sea ice.

“Divisive And Toxic”

Andy Revkin has accused Marc Morano of being “divisive and toxic” for exposing incompetence and corruption in the global warming industry.

The guy in the picture below was also accused of being divisive and toxic, for exposing incompetence and corruption in the Soviet Union. (The $100 billion per year global warming industry, would have been 25% of the GDP of the Soviet Union in 1970.)

A few brave men and women is all that is needed to bring down an evil empire.

Connecting The Dots

350.org wants us to connect the dots between extreme weather and CO2. Let’s do it!

The dots say : as CO2 has increased, US hurricane strikes have decreased.

The 1900 Galveston hurricane was the deadliest in US history and killed almost everyone. in the city.

The US hasn’t had a major hurricane strike since 2005, the longest such period in US history. The dots don’t lie.

Climate Scientists Say They Are Not Terrorists – Then Call For Global Economic Collapse

The difference between them and Osama, is that Osama only wanted to destroy the economy of the west – not the whole world.

Heartland may have politely understated their case.

Global Warming Should Make The Earth Storm Free

Suppose for a minute that Hansen’s BS was correct. His Arctic temperatures are warming much faster than the equator, and he says that global warming is accelerating.

If his claims were accurate, eventually the North Pole would be the same temperature as the equator. The earth would completely lose it’s heat engine, and become calm like the atmosphere of Venus – which never has any storms.

Energy flow is driven by differences in energy, not absolute energy. Global warming should produce fewer and weaker storms, not more and stronger storms.

“Why Don’t TV Meteorologists Believe in Climate Change?”

Why Don’t TV Meteorologists Believe in Climate Change?

Climate scientists agree in vast majority that human-caused global warming is occurring. But most U.S. weather forecasters don’t. Why?

Why Don’t TV Meteorologists Believe in Climate Change? | InsideClimate News

Well that is an easy one. Meterologists reputations and livelihoods depend on being accurate.

Climate scientists have no need for accuracy. They make forecasts 100 years in the future and change them every few months or years. Their livelihood depends on playing up to liberal guilt, and scaring people to keep research money coming in. They are never held accountable for being wrong, and the bigger their tall tale, the bigger their reputation. Not until they reach old age do they consider the consequences of their misdeeds.

Would A Global Depression Help The Climate?

Climate experts tell us that a 1930s style global economic depression is needed to stabilize the climate.

This is what Hansen said about the climate of the 1930s.

Empirical evidence does not lend much support to the notion that climate is headed precipitately toward more extreme heat and drought. The drought of 1999 covered a smaller area than the 1988 drought, when the Mississippi almost dried up. And 1988 was a temporary inconvenience as compared with repeated droughts during the 1930s “Dust Bowl” that caused an exodus from the prairies, as chronicled in Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath.

NASA GISS: Science Briefs: Whither U.S. Climate?

A sane person might come to the conclusion that throwing the world economy into depression is not a good idea, and will not benefit the climate.
