In 2012 The Guardian said that 70% of sea ice loss was man-made.

There has been no change in Arctic sea ice extent over the past fifteen years, and the minimum this year was up 37% from 2012.

1989 Steven Schneider Forecasts
In the August, 1989 edition of Popular Science, Steven Schneider predicted a large increase in the number of 95 degree days in Washington DC and 100 degree days in Dallas.

The exact opposite has occurred at both locations.
Popular Science said Schneider had been warning about global warming for 16 years (since 1973.) He was actually warning about global cooling.

The Popular Science article also claimed that 1988 was the worst summer for forest fires since 1919.
It was actually one of the quietest years.
