Solar Energy To Power Canada During Winter

an 80-megawatt solar project in the county of Newell between Calgary and Medicine Hat, will produce more than 195,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of renewable energy once completed, enough to power more than 18,000 Canadian homes for a year.

Is Amazon’s climate change solution a solution? | Canada’s National Observer: News & Analysis

Never mind that there is no sun at night and almost none during winter. Ontario is currently getting less than 1% of their energy from solar.

Gridwatch | Web App

Saying that you can power a home in Canada full time with solar, is like saying “my car has 280,000 miles on it, so I can take it to the moon.”  Totals tell you nothing about reliability or usefulness for a particular task.

Meanwhile, Bill Gates wants to block the sun so that earth’s surface receives even less solar energy. The colder temperatures would increase demand for energy, and the reduced sunlight would decrease the supply.

Google has provided a new tool to study climate change via time lapse Google Earth imagery.

They may not have achieved the desired results however.  The Dubai imagery showed that sea level has not changed since 1984.

They appeared to be blaming the drying up of the Aral Sea on man-made climate change, and said our choices will decide the future. Same story with disappearing glaciers in Greenland. Unfortunately they made two catastrophically ridiculous errors. The first is that they didn’t recognize natural climate change, and the second is that they blamed climate change on humans.

Here is Sydney Morning Herald from September 29, 1951. Everything which Google is blaming on humans now, was happening a long time ago, when CO2 levels were near or below 300 PPM.

Glaciers, Icebergs Melt As World Gets Warmer

Dr. Hans W. Ahlmann, director of the Swedish Geographic Institute, is an authority who has spent most of his life reading these signs. A recent report based on his work shows that the new climate is coming just as surely as winter or summer. Sub-zero temperatures occur only half as frequently in north-ern cities as they did 75 years ago. Greenland’s ice is melting and the ruins of mediaeval farm- houses hidden by ice for centuries have already been exposed.

In Spitsbergen the mean annual temperature has risen by four degrees since 1912. Ships ply the White Sea and the Gulf of Bothnia three or four weeks longer than they used to. In Iceland and the higher latitudes of Norway farmers are growing barley in soil that was once frozen for seven months each year. * BUT the coming of the new climate is most noticeable above the world’s snow lines.

Glaciers present the most striking evidence. The American geographer, F. E. Matthes, has reported that “glaciers in nearly all parts of the world receded regularly during the last sixty years but especially rapidly during the 1930-40 decade.” All glaciers examined from Greenland through Scandinavia to Europe are shrinking. And the shrinkage is not limited to high latitudes. Some glaciers in the European Alps have vanished completely.

In East Africa, the glaciers on three high volcanoes—Kilimanjaro, Mt. Kenya and Ruwenzori have been diminishing since they were first observed in 1880. The vast Muir Glacier in Alaska’s Glacier Bay has retreated a full 14 miles since 1902.

A young professor at the University of Wisconsin in the far north of the United States, Joseph Hickey, has been watching the birds of his State for the last ten years and he. too, is convinced that the climate is warming up. Comparing his observations with existing records, he says that many species of American birds and mammals have moved as much as 100 miles northward over the last 40 years.

The Tit mouse, the Turkey Vulture, the Whip-poor-will, the Swallow and the Opossum have detected the ‘ change in the climate much more quickly than we have and have moved north to find their accustomed climatic environment. *

Even the fish in the ocean know about it, too. Ahlmann reports that Eskimos are catching and eating cod, a fish that they never saw before 1900. Julian Huxley has reported that herring and haddock have been moving north off Greenland at 24 miles per year for the last 30 years.

Inland lakes have fared worse. With no melting glaciers to replenish them, many lakes are slowly disappearing. Dr. E. Nilsson, of Stockholm University, visited Africa in 1947 and found that the water level in Lake Victoria had fallen seven feet in the last 10 years! In America, the Great Salt Lake in Utah has lost nearly 50 per cent, of its volume since 1850. Its salt content has doubled during that time.

These cases of the Vanishing Lakes, the Shrinking Glaciers, and the Frightened Birds have now been solved and the sun stands accused. Dr. L. B. Aldrich, an astrophysicist at the Smithsonian Institute in the United Stales, published a report this year showing that the sun has poured enough extra heat onto the surface of the earth to affect our climate noticeably. The Danish Royal Geographical Society issued a more conservative statement. In the Danes’ opinion, “the question of the cause will remain open until sufficiently exact measurements of solar radiation for a longer time are available.” Other scientists, however, feel that Aldrich’s data is sufficiently detailed to provide an ex-planation for the curious evidence of a changing climate which has been gathered. * ALDRICH’S explanation is this that the radiation of the sun has increased by one quartet of one per cent over the last 20 >ears And this theory is based on 16 000 measurements made in Chile during those years Aldrich says that summer is getting warmer all the time

More Data Tampering From The Harris Administration

The NASA sea level web page shows that sea level rose very slowly from 1950 until the early 1990s (about 0.75 mm/year) – and then rise rates more than quadrupled since the early 1990s to more than 3 mm/year.

Sea Level | Vital Signs – Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet

But three months ago, NASA showed sea level rising more than twice as fast from 1950 until the early 1990s (about 1.7 mm/year) – and about 2.6 mm/year since the early 1990s.

And more than 80% of NOAA tide gauges are below NASA’s claimed average of 3.3 mm/year.

More stunning climate fraud from the current squatters in the White House. But there is more to this story. The NASA sea level graph shows rapid rise from 1920 to 1950 and then little sea level rise from 1950 to 1980.

Sea Level | Vital Signs – Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet

But NASA’s temperature graph shows 1920-1950 as being very cold with 1921 being one of the coldest years on record. Why would sea level be rising rapidly when temperatures are cold, and then rise rates slow down after 1950 when temperatures were warmer?

The NCAR graph from 1974 correlates much better with the sea level graph, because it shows rapid cooling after the 1940s.

Why were glaciers rapidly melting and sea level rising quickly at a time when NASA claims temperatures were very cold?

The sea level data has been altered by the Harris administration to make it look like rise rates quadrupled right when satellites started being used. But satellite data is equally as useless. The ocean surface is very rough, satellite orbits decay, and satellite measurements frequently have an error nearly as large as the trend.

Global mean sea level results

Even worse, they add in 0.3 mm/year for a global isostatic adjustment (GIA) to the satellite record. This is done because the sea floor is sinking in response to glacial rebound after the end of the last ice age.

What is glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA), and why do you correct for it? | CU Sea Level Research Group

GIA would be relevant if you were calculating properties like ocean depth or ocean volume  which can’t be directly measured, but it has no validity for sea level – which is directly measured and is essentially the distance from the center of the earth. The only justification to make any adjustment to sea level would be to account for measurement error – and GIA has nothing to do with measurement error. A sinking ocean floor lowers sea level, not raises it. And if they are going to use GIA, they would need to add it to the tide gauge data too.

There is nothing new about this fraud.

IS NOT HONESTY THE WISEST POLICY

It is wrong to mutilate or suppress the record of an observation of a phenomenon of nature, but it is also wrong to make a bad use of the record. In fact, it is the misuse of meteorological data, not the observing or publishing, that constitutes a crime against the community. Observation and careful research are to be encouraged as useful. Misrepresentations are to be avoided as harmful.

The “Independent Press” as the “Voice of the People” should be not only “Vox Populi” but “Vox Dei “, repressing all cheats and hoaxes, defending the truth and the best interests of the whole nation as against the self-interest of a few.

Global Warming Ruining The Boston Marathon

Ten years ago today, Geoffrey Mutai broke the world’s marathon record at Boston by almost a minute.

Kenya’s Geoffrey Mutai Wins Boston Marathon in 2:03:02 – The New York Times

But never mind the facts – two years later experts predicted global warming was going to slow down the Boston Marathon.

“Since 1924, winning times for the Boston Marathon have grown steadily faster as training methods have improved and an increasing number of international runners have participated. Winning times may nonetheless slow in the future as the climate of Boston continues to warm—running times are already affected by weather on the day of the race.”

Will Climate Change Slow the Boston Marathon? | Arts & Sciences

There is actually no indication April afternoon temperatures are getting hotter, and over the past decade they have cooled sharply.

The hottest Boston Marathon occurred in 1976 at the peak of the ice age scare. Temperatures were in the 90s.

The Boston Marathon had a different problem that year however – one of Barack Obama’s “young dreamers” blew up an IED near the finish line.

The New York Times and Rolling Stone magazine then made a rock star out of him, in the same issue which Rolling Stone reported “from the front lines of climate change

This year they have a different problem however – it is snowing in Boston, and Massachusetts is into week 56 of the two week lockdown to flatten the curve – so no marathon.

You can never be too careful. I saw these women from Fort Collins hiking in Wyoming this morning. One had a mask on, walking their dog on a leash in the snow half a mile away from anyone else (i.e. me.) I was the only person within five miles of them. Properly chained and muzzled Coloradans.

We are experiencing a barrage of anti-CO2 propaganda designed to make people believe they will burn up or drown if they don’t give up the energy supply they depend on for their day to day survival, and submit to permanent lockdowns.

India’s Monsoon Becoming Wetter, More Chaotic Because of Climate Change

The reality is that high CO2 levels existed for most of Earth’s history, and produced verdant forests which Scientific American reported on more than 100 years ago.

“Fertilizing the air with carbon dioxide to promote plant growth

ONE of the principal constituents making up the body of a plant is carbon, representing about one-half of its organic substance. The opinion that this carbon is derived from the soil has long been abandoned, modern investigation having shown atmospheric carbonic acid to be absorbed by means 0f the chlorophyll 0r green matter of the leaves and decomposed into its elements, the carbon, in conjunction with the root sap and atmospheric m0isture, being worked into organic compounds.

Whereas atmospheric air at present is relatively poor in carb0nic acid, of which it contains only about .03 per cent, at an early period in the development of our planet, when this was covered with the luxuriant forests our coal deposits are derived from, it comprised incomparably greater quantities of this gas. This fact suggested the idea of heightening the fertility of the soil by increasing its carbonic acid content and thus producing conditions resembling those of antediluvian ages.”

The greatest expansion of life on Earth occurred 540 million years ago, when CO2 was at its peak. Atmospheric CO2 levels were more than 15 times higher than they are now. Corals and shellfish evolved during that time.  If high levels of CO2 were a real problem, there would have been no sea life, rather than a massive expansion of life in the oceans..
