This is a fairly typical climate study from academia. They definitively determined the motivations of people fighting the climate crisis scam, apparently without actually talking to any of the people they claimed to be studying.  Had they done that, they might have learned that science doesn’t support their climate religion.

There is only one long-term GHCN station in the interior of Africa. It is located at Zinder, Niger.  The record heatwave there was 123 consecutive days over 100F from March 7 to July 7, 1922 – peaking at 121F on April 22. Average maximum temperature during that stretch was 113F.

Arrhenius made a fundamental error in that he didn’t recognize  H2O is a greenhouse gas.  Knut Angstrom pointed this out in 1901, and showed experimentally that adding CO2 has very little impact on climate.

I generated this graph using the RRTM-LW model, which shows how little impact CO2 and CH4 have on earth’s radiative balance.  Even a huge increase in CO2 or CH4  has minimal impact on climate.  H2O is far and away the dominant greenhouse gas on earth.

Puerto Rico has six long-term GHCN stations, shown in the map below.

Temperatures there peaked in 1925 at 104F, and afternoon temperatures have been declining a rate of 1.1F per century since 1899. Their hottest year was 1941.
