Pennsylvania March Temperatures Declining
It has been ridiculously cold in Philadelphia this month, with afternoon temperatures among the coldest on record. I’m looking out the window watching snow falling.
Nighttime March temperatures have been declining in Pennsylvania since the 19th century.
And the likelihood of cold nights has been increasing since the 19th century.
It is cold here again today, but on this date in 1910 Philadelphia was 82 degrees, and more than half of the US was over 70 degrees. CO2 was 300 PPM at the time.
March 25 afternoon temperatures have dropped more than 10 degrees in Pennsylvania since the 1920’s.

White Is The New Green
On thousand years ago Green-land was green, and Vikings grew barley there.
Vikings grew barley in Greenland | ScienceNordic
The Vikings in Greenland all froze to death when the weather turned cold.
Climate Change Froze the Vikings Out of Greenland, Say Scientists – 80beats : 80beats
The 1990 IPCC Report showed the Medieval Warm Period and subsequent cooling.
Greenland is no longer green. White is the new green.
Factual climate history wrecked global warming theory, so government funded scientists who depend on global warming funding for their living, simply erased the Medieval Warm Period.

Plummeting March 24 Temperatures In The US
“There is something fascinating about science. One gets such wholesale returns of conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact.”
- Mark Twain
March 24 temperatures have plummeted in the US since the year 1900. Prior to 1950, March 24 was typically a warm day in the US, but recent years have been quite cold on this date.
The likelihood of warm or hot weather on March 24 dropped off sharply after the 1940’s.
The likelihood of cold weather on March 24 has increased sharply since the year 1900, with 2014 being the coldest.
On March 24, 1910, afternoon temperatures in the US averaged an incredible 74 degrees, with most of the eastern US over 80 degrees.
If we had weather that hot now, climate scientists would state that they were 97% certain it was due to man-made CO2. As is almost always the case in climate science, the claims of its practitioners are the exact opposite of reality.

“Albert Einstein would almost certainly have been a global warming skeptic”
Dr. Will Happer and myself in front of Albert Einstein’s house at Princeton, New Jersey.
This article by Dr. Happer was in the Denver Post last week.
Albert Einstein would almost certainly have been a global warming skeptic if he were alive today. Many distinguished, contemporary scientists are skeptics, too.
We are lucky that Einstein left a rich legacy of pithy quotes that reveal how he would probably relate to today’s cult of global warming alarmists.
Take the oft-repeated propaganda that 97 percent of scientists support global-warming alarmism.
Quite aside from the falseness of the claim, Einstein would have remembered the famous attack on himself, “A Hundred Scientists Against Einstein,” published in Germany in 1931. His response was, “If I were wrong, one would have been enough.”
His view of groupthink was summarized in another comment: “In order to be a member of a flock of sheep, one must, above all, be a sheep oneself!”
Or take the oft-repeated statement by climate alarmists, most of whom have little real knowledge about any science: “The science is settled!”
Science, and especially a scientific topic as complicated as the Earth’s climate, is never settled. No credible astronomer, for example, would ever say we know everything about the universe. As Einstein put it, “We still do not know one thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us.”
Einstein himself had shown that Isaac Newton’s wildly successful law of universal gravitation had major deficiencies.
For example, Newtonian gravitation had no room for the gravitational waves, whose existence, at exactly the level Einstein predicted, was first demonstrated by my Princeton friends, Joe Taylor and Russell A. Hulse, for which they received a richly deserved Nobel Prize in 1993.
Most importantly, Einstein would have paid close attention to how well the establishment theory of global warming agreed with experiment. He famously stated: “No amount of experimentation can ever prove me right. A single experiment can prove me wrong.”

Early Springs Are Global Warming. Late Springs Are Climate Change
Last March, the New York Times announced that the early spring was caused by global warming.
Spring Came Early. Scientists Say Climate Change Is a Culprit. – The New York Times
March temperatures in New York have been falling for 45 years, and five of the last six months of March have been below normal temperature. But facts aren’t relevant at the New York Times.
This year, climate experts say that the late spring is caused by climate change.
The Washington Post also says this year’s late spring is actually an early spring, and it is caused by global warming, just as they expected.
Had Angela Fritz actually looked at the data, she would know that March temperatures around Washington DC have been running cold in recent years, and there is no long term trend.
A high school student @2050Age tweeted first day of spring DC temperatures yesterday, showing how they have declined.
Ice Age 2050 on Twitter: “March 21st is getting colder in Washington DC… “
This is what the Washington Post early spring looked like yesterday in Philadelphia.
Pennsylvania is having its second coldest march afternoon temperatures on record, twenty-one degrees colder than 1945 and 1946. There has been no trend in Pennsylvania March maximum temperatures since 1895
Warm springs are global warming. Cold springs are climate change. And every month is junk climate science.

Climate Scientists – Shipwrecked By The Laughter Of The Gods
Whoever undertakes to set himself up as a judge of Truth and Knowledge is shipwrecked by the laughter of the gods.
- Albert Einstein
Four years after the New York Times announced the end of snow, New York has tied an 1880’s snowfall record of five consecutive years of 30+ inch snowfall.
The End of Snow? – The New York Times
NYC hasn’t seen snow like this in 130 years – CNNPolitics
Undaunted by their spectacular record of consistent forecasting and logic failure, climate scientists have determined that the same climate as the 1880’s is evidence that the climate has changed.

Experts : Cherry Blossom Peak Bloom Over
Climate experts say Washington DC cherry trees are blooming earlier due to “global warming” and predicted that peak bloom this year would be March 17-20.
It is March 22, and Washington DC looks like mid-winter. Perhaps all of the white stuff on the ground is fallen cherry blossom petals?
But not to worry! Experts have updated their failed forecast to March 27.

Weather Street:Clouds and Precipitation Forecast Movie
Cherry blossom bloom dates have been trending later in DC, not earlier. But climate experts cling to their illusion that CO2 controls the climate and are thus blinded to reality.

Climate is climate, and climate science is nonsense, and never the twain shall meet. Experts believe cherry trees are going to start blooming in January, in spite of the fact that the concept is ridiculous and there is no evidence to back it up.
Could cherry blossoms one day be blooming in winter? – The Washington Post
March temperatures in the DC area show no long term trend, but recent years have been generally cold.
It wasn’t always cold in DC during March though – 1945 and 1946 had very early blooms.
Ludington Daily News – Google News Archive Search
Prior to 1950, March 22 was frequently a warm day in the US, with 1907 and 1910 being the warmest. During those years, 60% of US stations were over 70F on March 22.
There was a sharp drop off in the frequency of March 22 eighty degree weather after 1940.
On March 22, 1907 much of the southeastern US was over 90 degrees, and 80 degree temperatures were widespread as far north as New York.
The belief that CO2 controls temperature is the most embarrassing and mindless mass superstition of the modern age.

Climate Scientists Grant The Midwest A Century Long Reprieve!
Thirty years ago, the world’s leading climate expert told Congress that the Midwest was going to see an immediate increase in droughts and heatwaves, due to an increase in atmospheric CO2.
24 Jun 1988, Page 135 – The Palm Beach Post at Newspapers.com
His forecasts completely failed. The frequency of hot days in the Midwest has plummeted, while precipitation has steadily increased. Like 97% of climate scientists, Hansen had no clue what he was talking about.
Climate at a Glance | National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI)
Having gotten everything exactly backwards, climate scientists have now pushed the date of this calamity out to the end of this century – long after they are dead and no longer need to defraud the public to pay for their tropical vacations to escape the Midwest cold.
