While this is interesting, there are thousands and thousands of predictions that never came true, be they “scientific”, economic or paranormal. The one constant is that humans love the end of the world scenarios and they will continue to make end-of-the-world predictions until they finally hit it lucky and we are all toast. Then they will be happy (assuming there is an afterlife, of course.)
