Hansen is a kook. Anyone who takes him seriously is a fool.
Cute picture and reasonably accurate.
Hansen’s grandchildren just won’t know what snow is.
Last year, Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine set snowfall records, and this year they’ve set another record. Mt. Norquay will open tomorrow, Oct. 25, 2012, marking the earliest opening in the resort’s history. Mt. Norquay will be the first resort to open in Canada, thanks to 30 cm of natural and manmade snow on the slopes.

I think eco-worriers would argue that the snow will get heavier and deeper due to more water vapour in the atmosphere (even though that isn’t happening either), then there will be a tipping point, and it will suddenly melt away. Or something.

Along with China, Europe loves cheap American coal it keeps the light on throughout the region. Germany, Spain and the UK need coal to cover their embarrassment and short fall in power production. All three went bananas for ‘green’ energy and they need the coal to fill the gap. That and Czech Republic and Poland are all fired up with coal.
The EU’s green policies are ensuring that coal is still king.
