When the Dems controlled Congress this guy voted up and down the line Democrat, Democrat, Democrat.
If this guy had any integrity he never would have voted for the ACA. The fact you posted this entry, to me, is astonishing.
Like Webb, he did side with the democrats most of the time. Unlike Webb, at least he did tell them no occasionally.
Except that Joe Manchin is a Democrat that a couple years ago was all infatuated with Obama and the need to protect WV from climate change. He also expressed support for Obamacare, and takes the standard Dem line about not repealing Obamacare but only the “bad parts” of it. Is he even running again for reelection this year? Whatever, he may be a blue-dog, but to be true to WV, Manchin needs to switch parties. The Dems have long since abandoned the conservative ethos of WV.
The ‘Save my Arse’ ad. But he may be the likely winner. John Raese is the GOP candidate. It looks like Manchin may win. If he swings with the prevailing wind, we may be able to make some use of him to repeal Obamacare.
