FBI: Burgeoning gangs behind up to 80% of U.S. crime
Criminal gangs in the USA have swelled to an estimated 1 million members responsible for up to 80% of crimes in communities across the nation, according to a gang threat assessment compiled by federal officials. The major findings in a report by the Justice Department’s National Gang Intelligence Center, which has not been publicly released, conclude gangs are the “primary retail-level distributors of most illicit drugs” and several are “capable” of competing with major U.S.-based Mexican drug-trafficking organizations.

Prohibitions are always a windfall for criminals.
No, the largest criminal gang is the government.
They take protection money (taxes) in exchange for not taking everything you own and tossing you in a cage.
I think the Mafia was a better deal.
The nice thing about the Mafia is that they don’t try to convince you that they are breaking your legs for your own good and as part of some social contract.
It’s well over a million by now.
And we certainly wouldn’t want to call them some derogatory term like “illegal immigrants”.

Apparently the govt. doesn’t think we have enough since they want to legalize the ones we have and bring more into the country. Police had a ready-made reason to rid the streets of gangs such as MS-13, many who are illegal. When they couldn’t bring other charges against them, they could just deport them. Unbelievably the left made a stink and El Salvador said it would send their crime out of control if we sent them back. So instead of giving the problem back to their home countries, we just happily keep it here. I’m convinced the cartels have their claws into some politicians, otherwise they are just incredibley stupid and don’t give a flying fig about the country.
