Ehrlich : Earth Died During The 1970s

“I’m scared,” the lean, intense scientist (Paul Ehrlich) told an interviewer. “I have a teenage daughter whom I love very much. I know a lot of young people, and their world is being destroyed – my world is being destroyed. I’m 37, and I’d like to live to be 67 in a reasonably pleasant world, not die in some kind of holocaust in the next decade.”

    So not only was Ehrlich completely wrong about a holocaust before 1981, he was also completely wrong about how long he expected to live.

    Did Ehrlich ever make one correct prediction?

    was in college when Ehirlich started his apocalyptic vision of the future. ashamed to say I swallowed the hook. took years to remove the embedded barb from my cheek. goes to show that all alarmist crap has it’s do not use expiration date.
