As soon as he took office, his views “evolved” on the issue, and now he is pushing homosexuality like it is going out of style.
Regardless of your views on that topic, when a candidate misrepresents his position to the voters – he destroys democracy. Voting becomes meaningless when a candidate lies about his beliefs and intentions. Obama wants to be dictator and force his will on everyone else. He considers other people’s opinions to be uninformed and unnecessary, particularly those of voters.
It is the Constitutional responsibility of the House of Representatives to put an end to this, while they still can.
Lets tell the truth. African Americans and LGBT are the only constituents he has left.
He seems pretty popular with super rich “greens.”

Bush didn’t plan on raising taxes at the time. He made that decision later and wasn’t happy about it.
I rather doubt that H. W. Bush was the first elected official that back tracked on a promise not to raise taxes, and he in effect did pay the ultimate price for doing so? Democracy in action.
You do seem, however, to miss the real duplicity that occurred here. Bush raised taxes as a compromise with the Democrats. At the first opportunity they turned on him, and used the fact that he did what they wanted against him. The result was Clinton got into office and raised taxes more. If Clinton and his cohort Janet Reno hadn’t got into office our economy would be MUCH better today.
This guy is an example of why the country is in a malaise. The double standard of Republicans having to be nearly perfect to survive while Donks are not held to any standard of integrity whatsoever. Democrats know that BHO never meant it when he said that he respected traditional marriage. They knew his statement was just made to pacify middle America, and the suckers bought it.
All politicians, everywhere, will say whatever it takes to get into power, and do whatever it takes to stay in power.
The only question is who is pulling the strings?

Obama did very little with respect to gay rights during most of his first term. With prodding from Joe Biden, he was pushed into his “evolved” position before he rain the 2nd time. He won with the evolved position, so the result of his 2nd term election should not at all be suprising.
To paraphrase Bob Hope – the US is making homosexuality legal under all laws. I think I’ll leave before they make it compulsory.
