    The quiet before the storm. The cold does not hit until tomorrow here (for you as well?).

    Right after the great Minnesota blizzard of November 11, 1940. Over 100 people died, mainly school kids and duck hunters caught out in the open.

    In the first week of November, 1951 the Southern half of Upstate NY had nighttime temperatures in the low 20’s on 3 or 4 of the 7 days. Those readings were most likely lower in the Northern half. The cold this week will have us around 40 degrees-something we have already seen in October. However, next week‘s forecast is for temperatures in the low 30’s
