Holland has been stopping sea level rise for hundreds of years, via the use of windmills
However, the modern wind farm concept was actually designed by HG Wells.

the alarmists never factor in land lost from 40,000 dams worldwide.. Whole villages have been swept away in Egypt due to lack of sediment replenishing the coast line.
Windmills doing what windmills do best, all over the world. Pumping water. Raising the level, against gravity, of water. That’s what windmills do best and it will always be what windmills do best.
I have zero problem with wind mills. Wind Turbines are a different matter.
Wind mills, made of native materials, would be a boon to Africa and other third world countries. Chinese made Wind Turbines are a different matter.
I refuse to call those things “Turbines” He who controls the language controls the debate – or someone said.
They aren’t turbines

I prefer calling them ” bat-chomping, bird-slicing eco-crucifixes”
H/T to Delingpole
I prefer the term “Condor Cuisinart” especially when speaking of the West Coast and the PRC (Peoples Republic of California.)
To me, this is their most useful asset…

And this is what the robber Barrons will leave behind

Now if they put a water jacket around that when it caught fire it could boil the water to steam and then it could drive a turbine. And considering the total efficiency you may get more energy that way.
But the moment they could they were replaced by these.

It replaced 4 windmills

Excellent example of fluid dynamics for young engineers.
