Boycott Google

Two years ago Google broke their news archive searches, because it was digging up too many inconvenient facts. Google has now decided to let anti-science criminal hacks like like Poltifact decide what is truth in science. They are not doing the right thing. They are behaving like Nazis. They have gotten away from their charter.

Skeptics reach millions of people and can take away hundreds of millions of dollars of Google business through a boycott.

Here are some alternatives:

Bing Blekko Boardreader CC Search

CrunchBase DuckDuckGo

Technorati Topsy WolframAlpha

    Another:

Billed as the World’s Most Private Research Engine

I saw Marc Morano interviewed this morning about it, by a believer who called his site “anti-global warming”. That reporter and another …. pro-global woman threw around the “denier” term with reckless abandon in the short piece. She even claimed that most “deniers” aren’t scientists and are not equipped to evaluate climate science, like climate scientists and journalists are. Yes – journalists! I almost gagged.

  3. DaBuh says:

This is in line with Cass Sunsteins vision. I tweeted this to you last week.

The new Net Neutrality is just the next step towards completion.

Greed and selfishness, driven by unreported “CHAOS and FEAR” of nuclear annihilation in AUG-SEPT 1945, convinced world leaders to form the UN in OCT 1945 and take totalitarian control of society.

George Orwell started writing “Nineteen Eighty-rom Four” in 1946, the same year Consensus Science started to change:

    1. The internal composition of the Sun from iron (Fe) to hydrogen (H)

    2. Nuclear stability from “nuclear packing fraction” to “nuclear binding energy”

Who guided the insertion of these falsehoods into textbooks of astronomy, astrophysics, solar and nuclear physics worldwide? These are two of the earliest documented actions taken by Big Brother to take totalitarian control of the world.

I’m starting to dislike Google for searches too. More and more I get the feeling that search results are not interest based but value based.

https://duckduckgo.com/ might be a good alternative

  6. emsnews says:

Go to Salon.com to read about how the warmists are going to screw us all via hiding the debate. The liberals there celebrate this as a great victory for themselves and it is very disgusting.

      +1

The title says, “Anti-science advocates are freaking out about Google truth rankings.”

I’m getting tired of idiots in charge of things, who know nothing at all about the science of CO2, calling dissenting scientists who are very skeptical of the CO2 scare, “anti-science.”

But, Salon got it right. In an ironic sort of way. The gullible, anti-science advocates who believe in the ignorance and political propaganda of the busted, fake consensus are indeed freaking out. Their lies are getting louder and noisier as Mother Nature (the world’s greatest man-made global warming denier) continues to turn her back on their foolish religious zealotry.

  7. Stargazer says:

I canned Google as my search engine about a year ago primarily due to privacy concerns. I use duckduckgo exclusively. Excellent search engine.

  8. gator69 says:

I have also been using DuckDuckgo more and more, as Google is often not finding the info I need. I need a search engine, and not a thought control device.

  9. northernont says:

Yep Duck Duck Go works well for me. Been using it for a year now.

  10. Mat Helm says:

They’re not there as yet. But it is a dangerous president, much like what the BBC did. This is not to take up for them, but the manipulation of google and their link based rankings has gotten so bad that they need to figure out something. Hopefully this was just another wacky liberal Schmidt idea that got floated…

  11. emsnews says:

Already if you google ‘climate change SCAM’ 50%+ of the front page offerings are global warmists calling us names and lying about the ‘pause’.

  12. emsnews says:

By the way, I used several variations on the words ‘climate change/global warming’ scam and never ever does this site here pop up. Nor does even What’s Up With That which is less vocal about the scam but still talks about it.

  13. pyromancer76 says:

I canned Google in 2008 as my search engine when I saw how pro-Obama EVERYTHING was. No free speech; no open search; no true history; no true current events. Despicable.

  14. Yeah, google’s been going to shit for a while as a search engine, too. I used to use a combination of google & alltheweb, because they seemed to have less overlap than some. But yahoo bought alltheweb, & yahoo is, if anything, even worse about privacy & political advocacy.

Duckduckgo has been spotty, not giving even mildly ok results on numerous searches. Maybe they’ll improve, but they’ve had quite a while to try.

Bing is run by microsloth whom I trust even less than google. I mean, they have a motivation to give better results in certain areas that google actively tries to suppress (certain words simply can’t be searched for without getting utterly bogged down in pop-music/dumb movie garbage that has no value except to the evil asswipes at MPAA/RIAA), but I doubt they will continue behaving if they gain much market share.

Yandex can work sometimes, or at least used to (quite good for BSD stuff, being that there are quite a lot of BSD users in Russia).

  15. emsnews says:

The owner of Google and Microsoft are both Bilderberg guys.

  16. DakotaKid says:

I have been avoiding google (complete boycott is nearly impossible as my work uses google for their website) for two years already

  17. Lynn Clark says:

For Mac users, the latest version of Safari (version 8.0.x) in OS X Yosemite — 10.10.x (maybe also in older versions of OS X?) defaults to Google as it always has, but allows you to select DuckDuckGo (or Yahoo or Bing) as the default search engine. To change the default search engine, open Safari preferences, then click on the “Search” tab and then select Yahoo, Bing, or DuckDuckGo from the “Search Engine:” drop-down list.

  18. Ron Simpson says:

I just sent this to google via their feedback link. Don’t suppose it will make any difference, but it made me feel better.
My issue is that Google is now about to determine what is scientific truth and what isn’t. Not your job. It is in the interests of freedom of expression to allow people to make up their own minds about what is true and what isn’t. I don’t need google to decide for me. I’ve always used google as my default search engine but will not do so if this loss of freedom of expression goes ahead. I’ve seen photos of radical islamists holding signs saying “Go to hell freedom of expression”. google is apparently about to join ranks with these fascists. Will also remove google chrome if this goes ahead. Heil google.

I stopped using Google years ago too. Bing is my home page on the lap top.
