Just a natural lull, IMHO. I think the closer we get to 1974 climate conditions, tornadoes will reappear. (And will wrongly be scapegoated as evidence of CO2-centric global warming.
It just ain’t natural, man. Where’s them hurricanes we was always getting? It’s weird. I says them climate deniers’ wrong.
The government illegally exported all US hurricanes to the South Pacific and the tornadoes to Brazil. I think you should get your torches and pitchforks and march on NOAA and NASA to demand the return of the tornadoes and hurricanes.

Climatic Stagnation. The climate is stuck. $trillions must be spent to dislodge it.
Each lull falsifies the CO2-based propaganda. But as the global temperature backs off, I don’t think we can count on either lull lasting. I think cyclonic activity in the Atlantic will pick back up as the Atlantic Decadal Oscillation goes negative. A sure bet – the CO2-phobics will be blaming it on CO2 from man (as evidence of more warming that caused it), and will use their false claims to pass more regulations for more fascist control. And they’ll have adjusted (fake temperature) graphs from complicit NOAA and NASA to back it up.
Science is in a sad state.
They may come late this year but it seems that the deep South/South East is in the cross hairs for a short but active tornado season. Where dose Sean live?

Only 47 tornadoes? What about leaving some tornadoes for the other 10 states and the one state nobody’s been to?
Dagnabit. Tornadoes is one of those words that starts to look misspelled after you’ve typed it a couple of times.
You can bet your bottom dollar that whatever direction the tornado season goes, the true believers will claim that “global warming theory” predicted this would happen In a “warming world”.
The true believers are wacko enough tol claim that “global warming theory” predicted a mile high glacier sitting on Boston and Chicago and an ice sheet across Canada would happen In a “warming world”.
You can say the same thing about everything else as well. No matter what, since “global warming is happening”, whatever happens is global warming.

Be careful what you wish for. Over at Weatherbell they are forecasting a very warm Gulf of Mexico for April and May coupled with a jet stream flow that may be very conducive to tornado formation during this period.

Well, regardless of who was first 🙂 … an above average tornado season is expected since recent years have been below average.
Whatever it is will be catastrophic and the only way to end it will be higher taxes on the few remaining productive souls in the Obama “f”conomy, more school indoctrination and curtailing those pesky protected rights like free speech, freedom of religion (excepting CAGW and Islam) along with the right to arms and due process. That’s the only thing that will stop those tornadoes… except perhaps if some poor unfortunate tornado accidentally ingests one of Michelle’s school lunches. That should stop them dead.

Have had major T’s here in S. MN. Live by what is called tornado Alley. But none in last two decades. Older relative was a victim just prior to 1900.
On another note, At Climate etc, a few days back, J. Curry did study within Australia, found no warming in large area over last 100 years. Some of the reply’s were from individuals who did studies comparing unadjusted and adjusted temperatures using ideal locations (no UHI) and better observations.
RESULTS:
Unadjusted, no missing data, little or no warming.
Adjusted, missing data, some or significant warming.
Seems like somebody here has been saying something about that!! 🙂
More holes in the AGW ship.
When one learns that the amount of warming is about the same as the amount of “adjustment” (I personally think “fraud” is a more accurate description of the alterations.), it takes a special kind of foolish ignorance to continue to believe the warmista dogma.
We also have a major complaint about going on almost 10 years without a major hurricane! Also Florida going so long without any hurricanes at all. This is all obviously caused by Global Weirding, which according to leading climate scientists like Heidi Cullin, is all caused by Mann-made CO2.

Cullen and her ilk should all be charged with and convicted of fraud and theft by deception.
