     Huelskamp was shocked to hear John Boehner, after being reelected House Speaker, decry citizens who called Congress to urge a no vote on him. In this interview he reports that Boehner said, “Too many people were calling into Washington and beating up on his Members.” ….

     A Friday, March 13, 2015 Generic Congressional Ballot by Rassmusen showed, ” Nearly one-in-four voters (23%) continue to prefer a third-party candidate or are undecided.”

     If Americans learn anything from this month’s shutdown-and-debt-ceiling debacle, they ought to realize that political extremism brings real costs — denominated in dollars and jobs, as well as national cohesion and prestige — and that those costs are not small. As long as the tea party faction continues to wield its malign influence over the Republican leadership in Congress, the threat of further and even worse damage will not subside.

     Everyone should heed the clear warning issued by Sen.      Only a dwindling fraction of voters is still mesmerized by such demagogic nonsense, but their anger intimidates enough Republicans to ensure that Cruz and company can seek to sabotage the economy again — and they will. So it is vital for everyone to understand what these vandals have inflicted on us already…..

     Just as disturbing as all of this sad waste of human potential is the incredible pettiness of the goals pursued by the Republican leadership. Their ultimate, most pathetic demand was to deny health insurance to their own aides.

     So when Cruz and the tea party tell you their holy crusade against health care will “bring back jobs,” assume the opposite (and act accordingly). There is no bipartisan compromise on offer here — only more of the same ruinous obstruction, and worse.

     Your job won’t be secure until they lose theirs.

     So who the heck is Joe Conason?

     I like Walker. But though the progressives have done their best to destroy him and he has not only survived but thrived. But now the long knives on the more conservative side are coming out and he will have to contend with that.

     The way I see it the Progressives, through their press, always have and always will show you who they fear most. And it seems to me that nobody since Palin has been the target of so much of their foul bile as the Gov. of Wisconsin over the last few years.

     Walker is not my ideal candidate but he has proven that he can overcome the worst the progressives can summon and not only survive but get conservative measures passed in a rather progressive state. Besides the fact that his a fiscal conservative that led the successful effort to turn his states finances from the disastrous path that it was going down.

     On top of that it seems that he really has a chance to win all the marbles.

   Not only did it fail. It didn’t come close. I guess the press in the US and Israel were just projecting their desired result.

   The Republican establishment would love Jeb, so naturally we fear that is going to happen. It isn’t. He is increasingly despised by the grass roots, who once thought well of him.

   Walker is the only Republican who can be relied upon to actually attempt what he claims he will do. Unfortunately there is no Republican with the imagination necessary to roll back the juggernaut of progressive politics. Republicans are fixers, at best. Walker is that.
