In 2011, Katherine Hayhoe told the Guardian this :

This was blatant fraud on her part. At the time she said it, even NCDC showed that she was lying. I made this screen capture on the day that Guardian article was published, which showed Texas winter temperatures cooling slightly since 1895, and sharply since 1998.
So I went back to the NCDC web site and made a new graph, and was astonished by what I saw. They now show a winter warming trend since 1895
The animation below shows how NCDC has tampered with the temperature data, just since 2011. Mind blowing, and confirms what Roy Spencer recently reported.

So what does the real data show? Texas winter temperatures have cooled sharply over the last century.
Hayhoe’s claim has absolutely no basis. There is no way that she could have come to this conclusion with any sort of legitimate analysis. The average trend of a group of warming stations is not going to show cooling.

The closest HCN station to Lubbock, where Hayhoe lives, shows winter temperatures plummeting since 1998, with 2010 being one of the ten coldest winters on record. 1907 was their warmest winter on record.
She is defrauding the public. Texas winters are not getting warmer, and have been experiencing near record snow in recent years.

They sure cooled Texas a lot. Not as much as some other states, but it’s a lot. I’m checking the actual data, there’s good reasons for some monthly state average adjustments, but usually the adjustments were already done long ago, by the NWS
But that’s just it..
The whole idea is to do the adjustments time and time again !!
My buddy that serves on the Dallas Fire Dept as a rescue EMT and works Lake Hubbard for rescue and recovery would beg to differ with the lying bitch. Had icicles form on his helmet during a fire last month and just a couple weeks ago froze his butt off in a wet suit doing a body recovery.
I’ve recently been thinking that snow, ice and the freezing bays, rivers and lakes are a lot harder to “adjust” than temperature records,
And 7 foot ice boulders on the beaches of Cape Cod. 😀
But they just change the “official story” and say it’s because of “extreme weather” caused by global warming. Shameless.
If we had actual journalism in this country, these kinds of stories would be front page news.
The left despises truth. Those in the center love it. The far right also despises truth, so the left always portrays the center as the far right.
As the left moves further and further towards rigid totalitarianism the center becomes more and more of a threat and has to be portrayed as gun-toting bible-thumping racists to squash any dissent.
‘Left’ and ‘right’ are fictions used to confuse the people. The only real division is freedom vs serfdom/slavery. Some people on the ‘left’ like Rosa Koire have figured that out.

The 2011 NCDC graph shows that the 1901 – 2000 winter average temperature was 48.05 deg. F. The 2015 NCDC graph shows that the 1901 – 2000 winter average temperature has now been changed to 47.3 deg. F. Where oh where did that 0.75 degrees of warm 1901- 2000 past temperature go Hayhoe???
