Everything you’ve said about progressives and silencing dissent came to a head today. Now no one can deny the totalitarian nature of these lunatics.

  2. gator69 says:

It is important for us to remember that we outnumber the lunatics. They don’t stand a chance as long as we remain proactive.

    I love the word “lunatic”

The AGW debate ended when Tony showed AGW promoters were altering temperature data.

AGW promoters lost the debate. Their anger is understandable.

We always wondered how it was possible the Nazis could change Germany in such a short time.

“In October 2013, we also reported on how Chase instituted policy changes which banned international wire transfers while restricting cash activity for business customers (both deposits and withdrawals) to a $50,000 limit per statement cycle.”

So now Walmart or Whole Foods or Food Lion will tell customers they can no longer buy food with cash after the 10th of the month or whatever….

Obamacare also had a one liner that was intended to drive away cash business. The provision calls for all businesses to file 1099 forms with the IRS for all transactions with other businesses over $600. The bill makes two key changes to how 1099s are used. First, it expands their scope by using them to track payments not only for services (contract ’employees’) but also for tangible goods. Plus, it requires that 1099s be issued not just to individuals, but also to corporations. Credit card & debit card purchases however would be exempt from the provision.
        ……

And no it is not just info wars making this up.

Have we past the tipping point?

      • Gail Combs says:

The Rockefellers, Morgans and Rothschilds certainly want to get rid of cash and go to a society where the bankers control your life. … civil asset forfeiture laws allow the government to seize property without charging anyone with a crime….

        Think about it.

The US government seizes ALL your money WITHOUT trial and you now must sue to get your money back. How in heck are you going to pay a lawyer. Heck how will you pay for food, the electric and the mortgage? You are completely F,,CKED!

Loretta Lynch Has No Problem With Civil Asset Forfeiture — And That’s A Problem
….President Obama’s nominee to replace him [Holder], federal prosecutor Loretta Lynch is questionable in that regard because of her enthusiastic embrace of civil asset forfeiture, which often deprives perfectly innocent people of their property….

Ms. Lynch has used civil asset forfeiture in more than 120 cases, raking in some $113 million for federal and local coffers. The trouble with civil asset forfeiture cases is that they frequently inflict severe losses on people who have only the most tenuous connection with a crime – or even no connection at all….

…..the Bi-County Distributors case, overseen by Lynch’s office. Bi-County is a small business run by Jeffrey, Richard, and Mitch Hirsch. Their business deals largely in small amounts of cash and in May 2012, their account held $446,651.11, when it was confiscated entirely by Eastern District prosecutors.

Bi-County sells candy and snack food items to small retailers on Long Island, but, disfavored as such things may be by the Washington elite, that business is entirely legal. There has never been any allegation of any wrongdoing by the company or its owners, but they were under suspicion because of many cash deposits of less than $10,000. Under IRS regulations, banks must report cash deposits of $10,000 or more, but the feds look at substantial deposits of smaller amounts as grounds for suspicion, thinking that the depositor must be trying to avoid detection.

Now, if Ms. Lynch’s office had bothered to inquire about Bi-County’s business, they would have found that it is clean. But they did not bother to inquire. Under civil asset forfeiture, authorities can take money (or other property) and then dare the owner to battle through legal obstacles to get it back. To do that, the owner must prove innocence.

Charge someone with a crime and the burden of proving guilt is on the government, but confiscate property under civil asset forfeiture and the government keeps the spoils unless the owner is able to prove his innocence. That is not the way our system of justice is supposed to work.

Was this just a mistake, perhaps? Evidently not, because Lynch’s office has not seen fit to even file the required notice that it has taken the Hirsch’s money. Now that those inveterate opponents of government overreach, the Institute for Justice, has filed a case to force the government’s hand (a case with the strange name In the Matter of the Seizure of $446,651.11) the brothers might get their money back. Eventually…..

And another case of the US Feds going after a small business person.
Another Way To Kill US Farmers: Seize Their Bank Accounts on Phony Charges

…Now, Obama has the Dept. of Justice going after small farmers under the post-911 u201CBank Secrecy Actu201D which makes it a crime to deposit less than $10,000 when you earned more than that.

u201CThe level we deposited was what it was and it was about the same every week,u201D Randy Sowers told Frederick News. The Sowers own and run South Mountain Creamery in Middletown, Maryland.

Admittedly, when the Sowers earned over $10,000 in February, and learned they’d have to fill out paperwork at the bank for such large deposits, they simply rolled the deposits over to keep them below the none-of-your-fucking-business amount, rather than waste time on bureaucratic red tape aimed at flagging terrorism or other illegal activities.

u201CStructuring,u201D explains Overlawyered.com, u201Cis the federal criminal offense of splitting up bank deposits so as to keep them under a threshold such as $10,000 above which banks have to report transactions to the government.u201D

While being questioned, the Sowers were finally presented with a seizure order and advised that the feds had already emptied their bank account of $70,000. The Dept. of Justice has since sued to keep $63,000 of the Sowers’ money, though they committed no crime other than maintaining their privacy.

Without funds, they will be unable to make purchases for the spring planting.

When a similar action was taken against Taylor’s Produce Stand last year, the feds seized $90,000, dropped the charges and kept $45,000 of the stand’s money.

        • shazaam says:

The beauty of government actions is the always in the fallout aka. unintended consequences from their actions when the people get wind of their criminal actions.

What I’m seeing in the small business world is a lot of folks no longer depositing their cash. They’re keeping it and using it. The cash is not put in the bank.

I suspect that result is not what the government dim-bulbs had in mind.

It getting more and more ludicrous. You just can’t make this stuff up.

It would seem Twitter now have some real egg on the face as does the Groiniad.

Delingpole explains the egg on the Groiniad’s face:
As Farage has just been reminded, there’s no fascist like a liberal fascist

Bishophill commenters explain the egg on Twitters face.
As many of us remember on March 11 Steve said:
“Last week they threatened to shut down my account and accused me of making “non-violent threats” without any further information or response to my queries, and a few months ago they blocked my account as spam.”

Yesterday morning his Twitter account was shut down. So while Steve is getting censored on March22/23 because he tweets the truth a TWITTER ACCOUNT HOLDER is siccing the attack dogs on Nigel Farage.

    From Bishophill

Interestingly, the person who revealed Nigel Farage’s whereabouts was one Chris Venables of Medact,
