Thanks Everyone!

Twitter has reinstated my account. They got many thousands of angry tweets and apparently relented.

Twitter never told me what my violation was.

No, Thank you Tony. We are only here because of your relentless pursuit of the truth.

    God bless!

Ditto that Gator. The “Hope” gained a few “followers”. No comment from her yet on the Twitter-facist-fold?

    • emsnews says:

HOPELESS HOPE is HOPPING MAD. 🙂

      • chick20112011 says:

“Hope” so. lol Her narrative was all over the map. She’s looking for a screen shot of the “convo” that got the ban, in between the “fomenting hate”, “steve set it up”, “harassment not his page”, “we are going to prove his violations of the rules and we posters will be the fools”…, I can’t keep up with the changing theory on her twitter.

        • emsnews says:

She FERMENTS the hate. And then lies in the gutter, drunk.

        • chick20112011 says:

The spinning with the talking points of the hoaxers makes me dizzy, literally. I’m not sure what Hope’s education and job is other than that lo-tech website? Steve is a very educated guy yet they attempt to Alinsky him while propping up the “Goracle” (who is no “scientist”)

        • chick20112011 says:

She says on twitter the town she lives in. (South San Fran) Really pretty nice area close to the beach. Must cost a LOT to live there. Carbon credits/CO2 scam pays pretty well.

    • Gail Combs says:

      Tony,
A suggestion keep a backup copy of all your tweets. Have someone else also keep a copy….

  2. Joseph says:

Glad to hear! Now give em’ hell.

  3. shazaam says:

I’m betting those fine “progressives” at Twit Central were caught flat-footed by the censorship response / uproar.

I’m sure that nifty moniker “Twitmo” will stick in future cases of Twit Central censorship.

Pity they didn’t provide any specific infractions. Likely they can’t. Some little Twit just wanted to silence an evil denier.

They NEVER tell you. You can ask till you’re blue in the face and you’ll never know.

They won’t tell you what their criteria are for termination of your account, nor what the process is that leads to their decision.

Rumor has it that it’s all done by some decision-making algorithm.

I was suspended several times just for disagreeing with someone (apparently people can publish stuff on your feed, but you’re not allowed to respond unless they have specifically mentioned you).

Once it was for several months, then they inexplicably relented.

The last thing was simply my responding to a Leftard who lied about something Ted Cruz said. I simply said “you’re lying.”

That was it. I was gone, and they informed me they would “never restore the account.”

I have lived without Twitter for the two years since, and my life and health seem largely unaffected.

      • They won’t tell you what their criteria are for termination of your account, nor what the process is that leads to their decision.

Franz Kafka wrote his novel Der Process (The Trial) exactly 100 years ago, from 1914 to 1915.

The story’s protagonist Josef K. is prosecuted by a distant and unapproachable authority. The nature of his crime is never revealed to him (or to the readers).

Kafka was the first thing that came to my mind when Tony told us about his Twitter trial.

        Chapter One

Arrest – Conversation with Mrs. Grubach – Then Miss Bürstner

Someone must have been telling lies about Josef K., he knew he had done nothing wrong but, one morning, he was arrested. Every day at eight in the morning he was brought his breakfast by Mrs. Grubach’s cook – Mrs. Grubach was his landlady – but today she didn’t come. That had never happened before. K. waited a little while, looked from his pillow at the old woman who lived opposite and who was watching him with inquisitiveness quite unusual for her, and finally, both hungry and disconcerted, rang the bell. There was immediately a knock at the door and a man entered. He had never seen the man in this house before. He was slim but firmly built, his clothes were black and close-fitting, with many folds and pockets, buckles and buttons and a belt, all of which gave the impression of being very practical but without making it very clear what they were actually for. “Who are you?” asked K., sitting half upright in his bed.

      • Disillusioned says:

Your health is probably better for it.

From what I am reading, there appears to be a double standard. I don’t recall reading about Proggy borg followers being booted from Twizzler because they told somebody “you’re lying.”

If a lopsided culling occurs over and over, over time Twizzler would morph toward an engineered, politically-powerful mob of like-minds and bullies, who are allowed to be almost as nasty as they want – as long as they’re on the correct side, and repeat the borg messages – and an ever-shrinking minority of silenced, neutered dissenters. Scary.

  4. AndyG55 says:

Well done all you twitter people. I would still push them to try to find the reason in the first place.

    • chick20112011 says:

So would I. This happened to me. I didn’t do a thing. Racists didn’t like my response. Twitter-bully-ban.

But “Hope” is on it. (lol) She changed the narrative all day as to the reason, and she is going to “prove it” and ‘we will be the fools’. LOL

  5. Chris Barron says:

First Twitter, next the government….there is hope (not that hope)

  6. ossqss says:

We still need a “truth in science” legal defense fund through crowdsourcing. These type of bullying activities will not stop until they are dealt a consequences for their actions. This is all part of the big push to Paris in December. Just sayin, it’s gonna get much worse if nothing is done and the MSM is ignoring it for the most part. Ponder all of the assaults on climate skeptics, of all type, over the last year. It is not a pattern, it is a developing trend like a hockey stick graph.

Just look at the President of the USA pushing out tweets of bias, intimidation, and outright discrimination and oppression and it goes on for weeks with no repercussions. If that was Bush, they would have him up for impeachment!

  7. Me says:

    Bravo Zulu!

  8. Gail Combs says:

    Good going Steve!

I am glad we were able to make a difference. It is about time the voice of Main Street was heard.

  9. “Twitter never told me what my violation was.”

    Crimethink. Doubleplusbad!

  10. Kyle K says:

Twitter tried to send political opponents to the back of the bus.
How many people are silenced that don’t get the public outcry?

  11. Norm says:

In my tweet I wrote that they were a bunch of fascist pigs. Progressives hate being called “fascist pigs”.

  12. PS — please visit us on Twitchy, a conservative Twitter aggregation site. Your situation was followed enthusiastically, and your victory is now being celebrated. The site itself uses Disqus as a medium.

    This news makes me happy

  14. Welcome back.
Thanks to your return, I can spend time laughingly without crying for a while.
The earth and the truth are your friends.
And all people according to the earth and the truth are your friends.

  15. gregole says:

Glad you’re back on Twitter Steven! Funny how the truth gets some people so bent out of shape that they actually think they are being singled out for some kind of abuse. I suppose that’s where the saying “The Truth Hurts” comes from.

  16. Steve Case says:

Congrats cowboy, keep on hitting ’em with the facts.

  17. Aphan says:

YAY!!! And although I’m curious as to who/what this Hope person, thing is….I’m probably really glad I don’t know!

  18. NancyG says:

    Yay for Tony!

Some Progressive was probably called an idiot and their feelings were hurt. They’re all about the feelings. Like 5 year olds.

    • Byron says:

“account suspended for non-violent threats and abusive behavior”

I reckon You’re guilty as charged Tony , after all to the zealots of the Church of Carbon Catastrophe the phrase “look at the data stupid” could constitute both abusive behaviour and a non-violent threat . The reasoning is that to a true believer anyone merely questioning Their belief system can cause all sorts of mental anguish , actually looking at the data would cause them to question Their own faith and that would be tantamount to mental torture .

P.S. Keep up the good work

Does this mean that if Steve can get up to 10K followers (he currently has 6.174) he will be less vulnerable to the kind of harassment we have seen today?

It may be worth those those support Steve, but who do not have a twitter account, opening one just to follow him.

  20. omanuel says:

Thanks for the good news! Of course, Twitter will not explain why your account was suspended or reinstated, but all of us know it is yet another example of the lock-step, consensus thought police that George Orwell predicted in Nineteen Eighty Four.

  21. Alan Poirier says:

It’s amazing what public opinion can accomplish when it is mobilized for good. Welcome back, Tony. We Tweeted and they relented.

  22. lance says:

Never had a twit account…not sure I want to either, but keep up the great work steve.

  24. TomE says:

They really need to suspend the State Department’s twitter account with some of the insanity that gets tweeted.

  25. dbstealey says:

Excellent news! They caved… but the same reprobates are in charge, waiting for another opportunity.

  26. Jason Calley says:

Begin Scooby Doo villain voice over:
“Curses! Our banning algorithm was working just as designed until you pesky sceptics stuck your noses in! We would have gotten away with it!”

  27. Those who can’t handle the truth,
try to silence those who speak it.

  28. Tim Groves says:

Restored already? No reason given? So it was a simple case of harassment.

Much more of this sort of thing and it will be game over for Twitter.

  29. John B., M.D. says:

Tony, your violation was pissing off statist liberals who worship the AGW religious dogma in the church of Big Govt.
