Global Sea Ice Area Second Highest On Record

Government scientists say that the poles are melting, and the oceans are the warmest on record.  Yet the amount of sea ice on Earth is second highest on record, and last year was third highest. The state of the ice is not consistent or compatible with either of the scientists’ claims.

    I see the problem, Steve. They have not yet gotten around to adjusting that data. 🙂

    But seriously, funny that they can go back and adjust temperatures from 150 years ago but when
    they did not like what the early 1970’s ice data looked like, they disappeared it rather than simply giving it larger errors bars or plotting it in a different color.
