Guardian Climate Fraud Of The Day

Warming of oceans due to climate change is unstoppable, say US scientists | Environment | The Guardian

Unstoppable warming?  Temperatures in the North Atlantic are the coldest they have been in decades. Sea surface temperatures around Antarctica are also far below normal. When the next La Nina hits, temperatures are going south fast.

It is time for these climate criminals to be stopped. They have gotten so used to lying with impunity, they fully expect to get away with it.

Suzanne Goldenberg – a proven disgraced liar. Seems to be the background required for writing such articles in the Guardian nowadays, as with Nuccitelli continuing to try to hide his conflict of interest (Tetra Tech) that profits from influencing/lobbying EPA regs.

  2. Andy DC says:

The combination of El Nino and the warm blob south of Alaska could mean a very snowy winter for the major east coast cities.

  3. cfgj says:

Seas have been warming and rising the whole time…no hiatus. The skeptospehe should take note of this and not try to shield skeptics from unfortunate facts.

You didn’t learn anything before did you, cfnt. !!

Still the same old meaningless regurgitated propaganda pap.

Your inability to learn even the most basic truth shows you to be a mindless drone or bot.

      • cfgj says:

People here seem to really like calling other people with names. I prefer data.

        • AndyG55 says:

I prefer you go back and read all the comments about sea level rise from previous threads,

but I know you are incapable.

        • AndyG55 says:

The real sea level rise from stable tide gauges is about 1.2mm/year. Truly scary stuff.

The sea level was actually rising faster in the first half of the 20th century than it is now.

Human release of CO2 has obviously SLOWED DOWN the small rate of sea level rise.

        • Hey cunj, why do you start you pathetic little graph in 1993, you disgusting little piece of craj?

    • Michael 2 says:

cfgj says “Seas have been warming and rising the whole time…no hiatus”

That’s wonderful but why you think it is news? Global average surface temperature rise seems to have stopped after 1998. What the sea is doing, has been doing, will be doing, isn’t part of that observation. Global average sea level is also not all that relevant; what matters to a citizen is the sea level where he is. In some places along the north American Pacific coast the sea level is falling. That could create other problems of course.

I am a bit puzzled by the dip in 2011 and the rise in 2013.

    • Sea level has been rising for 20,000 years. That is what happens during interglacial periods.

    • V. Uil says:

Poor fellow. Does not seem to know (or understand) that sea levels have been rising for thousands of years.

Examples: Roman and Greek ruins are under water in many areas in the Mediterranean. The Harbor used by Pompeii, a causeway in Sicily linking the main island to a smaller island and so on. These were covered by the sea centuries ago. (it is a mark to the excellence of Roman cement that many of these flooded structures are still intact).

In the Scilly islands off the UK many stone age and iron age structures are under water and have been like that for more than a thousand years. Again on mainland Britain in the south east near Bristol stone age tidal fish traps are now many feet beneath the waves.

I wonder do these warmists ever do any broader research? Or do they question nothing and just replay any evidence confirming their mania.

      • myrightpenguin says:

Probably just a troll. He knows we are aware of such data and are several steps ahead in actually comprehending it within the bigger picture.

      • rah says:

        V. Uil says:I wonder do these warmists ever do any broader research?

Because if they did it would falsify the CAGW meme they so desperately want to believe. The very troll in question has been spoon fed plenty of data putting current climate into long term perspective over the last few months but chooses to ignore it and acts like it was never presented. Then has the temerity to say “I prefer data.”

      Yes, this graph is accurate.
—and it can be extended back to the middle of the little ice age.
There is;however, no acceleration or warming.
There are two, perhaps three reason for expansion
and the reasons are a constant
      1) thermal expansion
      2) glacial melt
      3) one that does not get mentioned – surface runoff from long standing aquifers
I have seen one study that indicated that as much as 42% of sea rise may be from
that runoff—–I do not believe it is that much.
*****NOW, that is an environmental concern

Also 10% or more ot the figures above are from GIA, not respective of ocean to land.
I do not know when GIA was first added to the figures.

This graph shows a rise of about 3.3mm per year. I have seen variations from 1.8 to about 3.7

  4. Andy DC says:

The cold water off Africa and through the tropical Atlantic should inhibit hurricane development this year.

  5. shazaam says:

With the “Alarmist Propaganda Pandering” industry funded to tune of a sweet $21 Billion per year, we can expect the climate lies to flow like Obama campaign promises.

Then again, the propagandists for “climate science” have the same credibility issue the laughingstock-in-chief is suffering.

Nothing they say has any resemblance to objective truth. Temperature data sets are being adjusted like unemployment numbers. The hottest year rhetoric is as hyped-up as was the Obamacare savings of $2500/family/year and is just as truthful.

Desperation to keep the propaganda front and center is mounting. Unfortunately, the liar-in-chief has cracked, broken and shat upon the facade of government trustworthiness.

  6. emsnews says:

The sea is the last thing to cool during solar minimums.

The minimum has been just beginning and will deepen into another Maunder Minimum or worse. At the end of this period (30-300 years) the oceans will have cooled down greatly. It is interesting that the great sea voyages from Europe to the Caribbean Sea was during the worst of the Maunder Minimum when there were virtually no hurricanes!

If they tried this during, say, the 1900-2000 period, their tiny wooden ships would have gone down all over Davy Jone’s locker.

    • Yeah, well don’t let ’em kid you. There were still lots of hurricanes in 17th century West Indies. Every island is littered with ruins of stone structures (built with coral and conch shells at “stones” since there were no actual stones) that were destroyed by hurricanes during the LIA. Just check out the early rum distilleries like the one at Cruzan and Jamaica.

  7. Chewer says:

The lying slugs are getting consistent support these days from their master and our tax dollars.
What a legacy, going from community agitator to state agitator to agitator in chief!

  8. Winnipeg Boy says:

We need to rewrite history. Tell those Peruvian fishermen that La Nina is dead and no longer a normal condition of the oceans. Normal-warm-normal-cool-normal cycle that lasted for billions of years is now gone because we discovered fire.

  9. talldave2 says:

Total ocean temperature change is immeasurably small — it is estimated at .1 degrees since 1950.
