Hundreds of people believed criminal government climate scientists who have been lying about Arctic conditions for years, and booked expensive Northwest Passage vacation cruises for this summer. But they have a big problem – there is ice right up to the Alaskan coast (shown in red) much of which is thick, multi-year ice.
And the prospects for that ice melting look bleak, as very cold air has settled in across the region.
Six years ago, scientists announced the end of multi-year ice – due to greenhouse gas emissions.
These people have absolutely no clue what they are talking about, but are paid well to lie – so they continue to do so.

This Global Warming Fraud has broader ramifications, due to the deliberate misinformation regarding overall volumes of Polar Ice . Complacency has set in as to the need for building more Icebreaker Ships… after all, the proponents of Global Warming predicted they won’t be needed.

The USA currently has just 1 ( Polar Star ) operational Icebreaker. Russia has 27 Ocean Going and some of them Nuclear Powered. For the size of GDP; USA has a minimal commitment.

I spent decades and over a thousand miles here without a single cancelation. No legionnaires disease, no terrorists, no hurricanes, no impassible ice, no lounge acts, no sharks, no unexpected port fees, no drunken captains (with the possible exception of yours truly), and no regrets.

It is the Current River in Missouri. I have been a canoeing enthusiast since I was a boy, and this is my favorite river for a number of reasons. It is nearly entirely spring fed above the Jack’s Fork, and is an entrenched meandering stream that cuts through uplifted limestone, so lots of bluffs and caves.

The best section is Baptist Camp to Two Rivers, where the Jack’s Fork joins it. That is a 58 mile float that can easily be done in three days. Best campground is at Pulltite Spring, next best is at Round Spring, stay clear of the commercial campgrounds and do not go in the Summer. Best times to plan a trip are late April through late May, and in October. I used to go twice a year to see the redbuds and dogwoods in bloom, and the last weekend of October to see the fall colors. If you go on a weekend during summer it is wall to wall canoes.

The Jack’s Fork is also nice, but it tends to flood in Spring because unlike the Current, it has a dendritic watershed that is susceptable to flash flooding. On one rainy trip down there the Jack’s Fork was 22 feet above normal, and the Current only went up 2 inches. Camping along the Current is safe, but the Jack’s Fork is not, unless you seek high ground.
Wait just a minute! The scenery looks an awful lot like North America! (I’m including Canada as a hedge.)

The Canadian Coast Guard is not prepared to rescue a ship of 8 much less several hundred at a time. All cruise ship enterprises know that should disaster happen, they’ll all be shit out of luck and quite chilled!
I’m assuming all boarding need to sign a waiver that mentions the remote possibility of being stranded in a chilled region, or worse.

Headline in today’s Milwaukee journal sentinel: water levels rising in lake Michigan. Only 2 years ago the lake was doomed because of global warming. They say the reason for the water rise is due to the “extremely” cold winters of the last several years which of course we weren’t supposed to be having.
