New Zealand has deported a Kiribati man who lost a legal battle to be the first person granted refugee status on the grounds of climate change alone.
Ioane Teitiota, 39, has argued that rising sea levels in his homeland meant his family would not be safe there.
His lawyer, Michael Kidd, told the BBC: “He’s very disappointed obviously, he wants to be back in New Zealand.”
Kiribati is among several low-lying Pacific nations threatened by climate change-linked problems.

Millions of climate refugees fled Oklahoma and surrounding states during the 1930’s. Steinbeck became famous writing about this.
Progressives have created this entire religion/mythology surrounding CO2 and climate, which has zero basis in fact. This is what Kiribati actually looks like.
California is sending forth many refugees lately. Keep them out of your state, unless you want to become New California.

These “sanctuary cities” cannot afford to run themselves, let alone pay for an unlimited number of unproductive people from third world countries.
Watching what happens with refugees in Europe over the next winter or two might give a “quick-time” version of the likely fate of USA “sanctuary cities”.
I don’t think we have to wait another year to see the future of sanctuaries in “quick-time”.

Yes “Peace through death” (death for enemies, infidels and sinners) is the Muslim way, at least for those who take a fundamental view of their religion. However this works out, there is a lot of death ahead. (One might note there are similar passages in the bible that are currently ignored by most Christians,{even fundamentalists} but that was not always the case.)
What remains to be seen, is if resistance develops, and how that plays out. Do the Germans lay down and die? Do Muslims become the new Jews under a new Hitler?
At least here in the USA the US citizens still have the 2nd Amendment while in the EU only the Mussies are armed….

Turns out the man from Kiribati, was a bit of a shit. According to his former employer (interviewed on national news) when Ioene’s original work visa was declined by immigration officials, the employer suggested they claim climate refugee status.. The employer said it as a joke, but to his surprise the immigration lawyer ran with that argument – but it was all bulls#it. Then Ioene got promoted in his job, and the troubles started. According to the employer, he became a “bully boy” and was accused of sexually assaulting a female worker. The employer fired Ioene and called the police. The majority do New Zealanders are very happy he is back in his Pacific paradise of Kirabti.
Sorry that last sentence was meant to say “the majority of New Zealanders …”
