On February 15, 1936 Ada Minnesota set their all-time cold record of -53°F. Less than five months later they set their all-time hot record of 111°F on July 6, 1936. That is a spread of 164 degrees.
On this date in 1922, Ada was 99°F. Today’s forecast high is 35 degrees cooler at 64°F.
One hundred degree days were very common in Ada when CO2 was below 350 PPM, but they almost never happen any more. There has only been one 100 degree day in Ada since 1988. but in 1936 they had twelve consecutive 100 degree days and eighteen during the summer.
For the entire state of Minnesota, the frequency of hot days has plummeted over the past 120 years. Since CO2 hit 350 PPM, they rarely have 95 degree days any more.
The last really hot summer Minnesota had was 1988, when Hansen gave his testimony to Congress warning that we were all going to burn up. And NOAA says this is the hottest year ever.
Steve, you should create a resource where you can easily view each of the communities where you have done this type of analysis.

I just checked Duluth, it has had only three 100 degree days, 1934. I dropped it down to 98 degrees, and 1934 shows 5 days, and 1901 shows 2 days. That’s it. How can the heat be more extreme now?
SFX, Duluth has as its neighbor on one side, 25% of the fresh water in the world generally at below 40 F and the other side a 400 ft cliff. A reason it is often referred by its residents as “The Air Conditioned City”.

During 1936, there was a 181 degree temperature range in North Dakota. -60 in February and 121 in July. Both still stand as all time state records.
To validate that the incredible 121 temperature reading was not a fluke in North Dakota, there was another station that day that was 120 and yet a third that was 119.
No jumbo jets or asphalt runways in sight on that day, to the best of my knowledge.
If we cut off electricity and have no heat or air conditioning, there is no gurantee that we won’t have extreme heat or cold. We will just simply die from it for lack of heating an air conditioning. But that won’t upset the alarmists, who hate humanity to begin with.
