The End of Snow? – The New York Times

Had they bothered to do any fact checking, they would have known that snow in NY is increasing in a hockey stick and is double what it was a century ago.

Porter Fox was born in New York and raised on the coast of Maine. He lives, writes, teaches and edits the award-winning literary travel writing journal, Nowhere, (nowheremag.com) in Brooklyn. He graduated with an MFA in fiction from The New School in 2004.

    Another “climate expert”.

Guys like Fox are paid by the lame stream media all over the world. In Australia they call themselves the Skeptics and are made up of a bunch of actors, authors and entertainers. No scientists but all very good in the art of using logical fallacies. The art of suggestion and criticism are very effective towards unsuspecting people. Few want to believe that those in power are so devious and that there are so many in prominent position of power who will screw over their fellow human beings for the all mighty dollar. Paul Krugman, an economist who often writes for the N.Y. Times is an artist when it come to the use of logical fallacies. Professor and economist Thomas DiLorenzo calls guys like Krugman the “Gatekeepers”. Those that are willing to deceive the Citizens by continuing to promote the memes of the ruling oligarchy. Things such as a central bank stabilizes the economy, prevents run on banks and makes sure our money is safe. Or that Abe Lincoln was a good guy instead of a mass murderer unilaterally abrogating the Constitution by instituting a State of Emergency AKA Marshall Law, suspending the Writ of Habeous Corpus, even going as far as issuing an arrest warrant against a Supreme Court Justice who challenged Lincolns Executive Order. Or that guys like FDR was a “man of the people”, even those he stole the gold from the Citizens in 1933 using an executive order under a State of Emergency Declaration. He then went on to arbitrarily raise the price of gold, effectively causing the paper money people where paid for their gold to decrease in value by 40%. I used the term stole because 1. you would be arrested and fined if your were caught with gold that was supposed to have been turned in and 2. If you are robbed of your possessions under force or the threat of force (incarceration and fines) such as an armed robbery by a individual, it is considered theft yet I have been told by liberals/progressives that since it is a law and your social duty under some unknown social contract, that such an action is not theft. The liberal/progressive movement is filled with devious people like this who attempt to manipulate our society with words, lies and various other logical fallacies. It’s just like so many people still think 9/11 truthers are the idiots and bad guys despite literally thousands of architects, engineers and scientists who do not believe the NIST report and there are still gatekeepers out there continuing to spread lies and misinformation about the event. Many people believe these people are even being paid by our government, hence the ruling oligarchy is using our money to pay people to lie and mislead us. That is the definition of real power.

Hey hskiprob! If there is, in fact, a social contract, We The People have no reason to obey it. Contracts place duties and obligations on ALL parties, not just one party, and the various governments reneged on their duties long, long ago. We are now told that corporations are people. Coercion is law. Theft is investment. Personal damage is “for your own good.” The social contract is a dead letter, and not because the public broke it first. There is a certain hubris to those so-called “representatives” who tell us that calling something by the wrong name makes it true. It is the same child-like (but evil) mindset of those who believe that “wishing will make it so.” Certainly that belief in controlling other people by the hypnosis of lies did not start on the Potomac; maybe it was in Babylon…

The end of snow is taking place, except for big snowstorms. Capital Weather Gang actually said that. It is because hot air holds more moisture. It is hard to believe that even they are that idiotic.

  4. darrylb says:

The Capital weather gang is full of hot air and that is why they are always trying to snow us.

They always stated we will always have snow, virtual that is. BTW we have gotten a foot in the last week. Keeps certain people employed.

  5. Leon Brozyna says:

A New York City publication … yawn … don’t forget that those city folk live in their own little bubble, where the rest of the country is viewed as being unreal.

    • RAH says:

But the NYT is touted as “the newspaper of record” and though somewhat diminished now days, still had a lot of clout when it comes to setting the tone of the MSM.

Can you teach me how to find and graph temperatures in Greenland with links to the source of the data?
