One of the excellent things that you display here is the fact that NOAA and other government outlets adjust temperature records, and try to erase the cooling that occurred between the 1940’s and the 1970’s.

You mentioned in one blog that your 2 main tools were to show original measured temperature data before adjustment, or original data on sea-ice extent, and or Greenland and Antarctic on-land icecaps, and to compare those data with historical newspaper reports of either cooling / warming, glacier retreat / advance, and polar sea-ice decline / expansion.

German blog “notrickszone” is documenting the same issue by highlighting scientific articles published in the 60’s 70’s and 80’s that showed global or regional cooling from the 40’s to the 70’s. They then compare that with the view from today.

The 2 approaches complement each other very nicely.

I think Pierre has figured out he reaches and influences more people presenting things in a straight forward easily understood format. He still will post a long list of scientific papers on a particular aspect of climate, and I appreciate that, and it has great value. And it shows in the reaction of his resident believer which tries to challenge those kinds of posts more than any other from what I’ve seen.

IMO Tony, more than any climate blogger hits the essence of the scam in a straight up manner that is understandable even to those with little background on the subject. He pulls not punches. He calls it like he see’s it and presents the evidence why he see’s it that way and is not afraid to call the frauds and political opportunists what they are. NO PC HERE!

The papers they list include Hansen et al 1981 and Karl et al 1984 (James Hansen, Tom Karl, prominent warmists who apparently thought differently in the 80’s) as well as Holdren and Ehrlich 1971 (John Holdren, Obama’s science czar) and his oftentimes co-author Steven Schneider (Rasool, Schneider 1971; Schneider 1974, Schneider, Dickinson, 1974; Schneider, 1978)

  3. GW Smith says:

Government funded elites are now controlling science and telling us what is true and not true. Moreover, they adjust the past to make it conform with their vision of the future. Sounds just like 1984 all over again. Thanks, Tony! The problem is – 1984 did not end well.

    Well put together presentation, Tony.

Look at the AMO cooler periods in 1965-68, 1971-76, the mid 1980’s, and the early 1990’s:

and compare to the solar wind in those periods:

    Hello Tony,

Speaking or reality and imaginative stories, I hope you can expose and shame a Melbourne, Australia newspaper’s dreadful article aimed at children. Written by serial climate alarmist, Benedict Brook for the Herald-Sun, the article is titled “Darwin could soon become uninhabitable as temperatures rise around Australia”

This article is utter garbage! I checked a roofing company website and they state a black roof on a 90 degree day can get to 87 degrees celsius but this article hyperventilates about roofs and carpark surfaces getting to 45-67 celsius as though this is extraordinary.

They also state that Adelaide’s November nighttime minima hovered around 29 C, whereas the Bureau of Meteorology (no slackers at alarmism themselves) say the warmest minimum was 26.5 C, and I calculated the average to be just 17C for the month.

Thank you, and enjoying your blog and videos very much.
