Democrats And The Deep State Hate This

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.

Akin to, and largely responsible for the sweeping changes in our industrial-military posture, has been the technological revolution during recent decades.

In this revolution, research has become central; it also becomes more formalized, complex, and costly. A steadily increasing share is conducted for, by, or at the direction of, the Federal government.

Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers.

The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present

and is gravely to be regarded. Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific/technological elite.

From time to time, I work for the Military Industrial Complex in the Washington DC area. Five of the ten richest counties in the US are located around Washington DC – due to defense spending. Those counties are also 80+% Democrats. The last thing they want is peace – which is why they are working so hard to remove President Trump from office.

After eight years of Obama making the US a laughing stock, President Trump is bringing respect back to America.

Had not Trump become a republican candidate , as a former democrat , at the invitation of the US Army ? Is the Muller witch hunt allowed to continue as in the end it will only hurt the democrate party ?

Good move by the tribe, the interwebz were exploding with distaste for the longstanding narrative. Trump is putting some fine lipstick on the pig politic.

If enough people get pissed apparently they do listen a little, I’ll take it as a good thing.

I think there are a lot of reasons why the deep state did all they could to prevent Trump from becoming POTUS and obviously conspired well in advance on how to to try and get rid of him if he was elected.

The biggest reason, IMHO, is because Trump is the greatest threat to their power and influence they have EVER encountered. And every indication is the their fears were justified.

DC is not a swamp, it’s a sewer, and it will take more than draining it to get rid of the smell of feces.

Climate Change Conference Collapses as China Backs Down from Emission Commitments

China is demanding that it not be held to any climate change standards whatsoever. In return for all the money they are getting from the rich countries starting in 2020, the developing countries are supposed to start reducing emissions in 2020.

But China is now demanding “bifurcation.” This is a technical term meaning that the transparency and bookkeeping rules apply only to the rich countries, not to the developing countries.

Interessting that china is still a developing country and will still officialy remain for the next 1000 years i guess.

Now let’s think a little bit further:
The developed countries cut down their co2 emissions(which are congruent to industrial&economical output)
those countries will become shitholes while china will dominate everything.

And i’m pretty sure the same people who run the deep state and those leftie billionaires have, are and will move money, jobs and assetts to china to save their wealth.

I don’t know. The Arabs told Israelis where their capital should be but these people just won’t listen.

And now even Israel’s citizens say that Trump is The Snake.

    • RAH says:

A hell, I guess that is a step up from “The Great Satan”. In my view, if your pissing off the “Palestinians” and Iranians or as in this case Arab Israelis, then your on the right track. And these days one could almost say the same about the Turks, or at least their government. If the Arab Israelis don’t want their country to claim it’s rightful land then where do their loyalties really lie?

Obama admin. spied on Trump campaign more than previously known, set ‘spy traps,’ new reporting says

Following Kimberly Strassel’s bombshell reporting at the Wall Street Journal that alleges the FBI may have placed a spy in the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election, a well-known investigative reporter dropped another bomb.

Paul Sperry, who writes for RealClearPolitics and the New York Post, reported Friday the Obama administration set spy “traps” for low-level officials in the Trump campaign.

    First, what did Strassel report?

The Justice Department and FBI has long maintained it opened a counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign after it received a tip about drunken rumblings from then-Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos.

That claim was called into question this week after House officials won a battle with the DOJ to review information that is so top-secret that the agency claimed lives would be in danger if more eyes viewed it. In particular, they claimed a U.S. citizen, who has provided intelligence for the FBI and CIA, would be put at risk.

However, House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) were eventually granted a classified briefing. This development alone holds “stunning implications,” Strassel reported.

First, she said it showed the DOJ has long been hiding important information from House investigators, information House Speaker Paul Ryan said Congress is entitled to. Second, it shows the DOJ may have embedded a spy in Trump’s campaign.

    Strassel reported:

Thanks to the Washington Post’s unnamed law-enforcement leakers, we know Mr. Nunes’s request deals with a “top secret intelligence source” of the FBI and CIA, who is a U.S. citizen and who was involved in the Russia collusion probe. When government agencies refer to sources, they mean people who appear to be average citizens but use their profession or contacts to spy for the agency.

Ergo, we might take this to mean that the FBI secretly had a person on the payroll who used his or her non-FBI credentials to interact in some capacity with the Trump campaign. This would amount to spying, and it is hugely disconcerting.

With that information in hand, Strassel explained it’s important to learn when the CIA or FBI placed its informant in the Trump campaign or first made contact with the person. If it was before the Papadopoulos tip — which the DOJ says spurred the investigation — then “then the FBI isn’t being straight. It would mean the bureau was spying on the Trump campaign prior to that moment.”

Any clues as to who the informant is?

Strassel said she believes she is aware of the spy’s identity, though she was unable to receive confirmation on her suspicions and thus didn’t report the name. Other news outlets, like ZeroHedge, have speculated as to who the person possibly could be.

    What did Sperry report?

He said on Friday that former Secretary of State John Kerry, senior FBI agent Peter Strzok and former CIA Director John Brennan set “Russian espionage traps” for low-level campaign aides in the Trump campaign.

He did not offer additional details, but has been reporting on the story, including the shadiness surrounding the DOJ’s handing of the Christopher Steele dossier, for months.

And we have yet to get the FBI IG report. The fact that it’s release keeps being delayed makes me think that they just keep finding more and more leads that require investigation. There is a big storm coming for the sewer rats and unless the Democrats can really get a “blue wave” things will really get interesting.

As for that “blue wave”? It’s looking more and more like it’s about as probable as a Hilary landslide was.

As for Sessions? There are still some hardcore Trump supporters giving him the benefit of the doubt. I don’t. He could have pursued prosecution of Hilary for her private server and obstruction of justice but has not. He had not recused himself from that! And that tells me all I need to know.

For so long the libs and dems and deepstate have had access to anything and everything with PDJT, and yet they have found nothing that they can use for their evil plans. Their heads must be exploding because they know that they are dirty and guilty of just so much, and they assume that PDJT and his folk must be also. I don’t feel even just the tiniest bit sorry for those traitors.
