In 2006 the Associated Press predicted a large increase in severe heatwaves. In this video I look at the accuracy of their article.

    Tony you said something interesting near the end of your “Killer Heat Waves” video about higher carbon dioxide equating to colder weather. If you logically compare the graph of increased atmospheric CO2 which goes up and down each year, relatively lower in the summer when there are more green plants in the northern hemisphere absorbing CO2, with the premise that CO2 causes warming then shouldn’t summers be cooler and winters be warmer?

    Central England had its hottest July in over 360 years in 2006. Heatwaves like that are only caused by the Sun. Previous heliocentric Jovian analogues of 2006 occurred in 1361, 1540, 1757 (Paris heatwave), and 1936. The next one is in 2116.
