Faking US Temperature Data

Fabricated US temperature data from NOAA appears to have a change in their algorithm after the 1998 El Nino. The fake temperatures were shifted upwards by about three degrees.

The 1998 shift is how NOAA creates the fake warming in their graphs

    I can attest it hasn’t gotten any warmer where I live in central Minnesota. talk about fake how about our VP Harris tonight in her big speech. she portrayed Donald Trump as such a son of a bitch I don’t even want to vote for him anymore. Lying is all the Democrat party has. she sure has some big spending plans. I saw a story the other day that everyone’s trying to figure out what happened to the 1.6 trillion infrastructure bill. where did all the money go besides besides building eight EV charging stations? do people want to get duped again? maybe some do. give her another trillion dollars and she’ll build eight more. my mom always said talk is cheap, I will add , but when Democrats talk it’s expensive.

  2. Francis Barnett says:

    I read in our papers this am that Hyena Harris is proposing an eye-watering 5 trillion dollar increase in US taxes.
    A very good question she should be asked in public debate is why she is proposing this tax rise, and what she is proposing to spend it on.

    • Bob G says:

      5 trillion dollars would be enough to build 25 more EV charging stations. lol. in her speech last night I think she said she wants to cut taxes. I’m sure that changes every other day, depending on how much wine she has had. I think her only plan that she will for certain try and implement is stealing the election.

    Mannthropgenic warming proven. The results will be catastrophic for N. America, Europe, Oz & New Z.

  4. James says:

    Tony,
    I’m having a hard time reproducing your graph if temperature “adjustments” from the USHCN data for Utah. I don’t see more than about 0.63 degree C difference (1956, 1957) and they are ALL negative (false cooling), even for 2024 (-0.18). I don’t see ANY positive values (false heating).

    Here’s what I did. Please tell me where I went astray …

    1. I imported the raw tavg USHCN data for all Utah stations into SQLITE (table ‘base’).
    2. I then imported the FLs.52j tavg data for all Utah stations (table ‘adjusted’).
    3. I deleted all records with -9999 value fields.
    4. I created a new “deltas” table by subtracting the raw tavg from the FLs tavg for each station, year, and month.

    create table deltas as select b.station, b.year, b.month, a.value-b.value as dvalue, a.celsius-b.celsius as dcelsius from base b join adjusted a on b.station=a.station and b.year=a.year and b.month=a.month;

    5. I then computed the “average” delta for each year across all stations and months.

    create table ydeltas as select year, avg(dvalue+0) as avgdvalue, avg(dcelsius+0) as avgdcelsius from deltas group by year;

    Here are the results from that ydeltas table:
    +——+——————-+——————–+
    | year | avgdvalue | avgdcelsius |
