1886 : Seven Hurricanes Hit The US

Including two major hurricanes.

Zero hurricanes have hit the US since 2008. You can say the climate is more extreme now, but you would be lying if you did.

    Three landfalling hurricanes in June are really remarkable. If my memory is correct, two of those hurricanes hit around the Tallahassee area only a few days apart. I believe that there has only been one landfalling hurricane in that same area over the last 40 years.
