Meanwhile, Russia rejected a Security Council statement backed by Western nations which asserted the link, but later agreed to a weaker text.
The Russian envoy Alexander Pankin said he was sceptical about the implications of putting climate change on the security council’s agenda.
Security Council members finally agreed to a text which spoke of the “possible security implications” of climate change.

Isn’t it about time that the UN Security Council conduct a vote “For The Record” on the Subject of Global Warming? Think of it! Nothing like this has ever sold as many newpapers or TV commercials, it’s catistrophic or it ain’t. Indeed, IF we are or IF we ain’t we really do need to know. Now the IPCC gives it’s 2cents to the UN Hancho’s and it’s Members. The SECGEN & Assembly are all in a tizzy. It’s now time for the Big Guys to go ON RECORD, we either IS or AIN’T gonna die. To those who have investigated the political side of environmentalism, there is a great deal of evidence that it is being used to further an agenda of a one-world, socialist government. This security council news is just one more bit of evidence. European and American elitists aren’t satisfied with ruling the West; they want to rule the world. Their war on affordable energy will be their ultimate downfall.
