Destroy the family, you destroy the country.

Progressives have proudly destroyed the family, and now say that they own your kids.

Not just children of a progressive society, but children of a PC society, where noone was allowed to call them nuts.

it’s just a mental / psychological war now. What comes next???
Ideal parents to collectivists are the irresponsible parents who abandon their kids. Destroying family interest is in their best interest.
Anyone who paid money to be educated by this woman was robbed.

Then does Melissa Harris-Perry think Socrates was serious when he began his discussion with his interlocutor Glaucon by saying, “then the women and children will be shared in common…” in the Republic[1]? I have read a number of scholars who make the mistake of taking this as a serious idea of Socrates, when it really was a joke at the expense of Glaucon. Many still make the mistake of thinking Socrates is seriously entertaining the idea of socialism. In fact, Aristophanes took it as a joke in his Ecclesiazusae[2]. This discussion is at the beginning of Book V and the context clearly shows frequent allusions to the humorous nature of the matter. Socrates says, “the contrast with present custom would make much in our proposals look ridiculous…” The Greeks of this time were well aware of the ethnocentric nature of many customs yet still considered them sensible. Should not socialism be just as ridiculous to us? In my opinion, it should remain so. However, a few years ago Newsweek had a cover story proclaiming, “We are all socialists now.”

So I guess that means the state should now decide who to abort.
“Let me control the textbooks and I will control the state. The state will take youth and give to youth its own education and its own upbringing. Your child belongs to us already..what are you?”
