At least four career officials at the State Department and the Central Intelligence Agency have retained lawyers or are in the process of doing so, as they prepare to provide sensitive information about the Benghazi attacks to Congress, Fox News has learned.
Victoria Toensing, a former Justice Department official and Republican counsel to the Senate Intelligence Committee, is now representing one of the State Department employees. She told Fox News her client and some of the others, who consider themselves whistle-blowers, have been threatened by unnamed Obama administration officials.
“I’m not talking generally, I’m talking specifically about Benghazi – that people have been threatened,” Toensing said in an interview Monday. “And not just the State Department. People have been threatened at the CIA.”

Like skeet shooting, threatening people is a favorite pastime at the Hope and Change White House.
Another member of the Washington political media stepped forward Thursday to claim he was threatened by the Obama White House, shortly after the White House denied reports that an adviser threatened famed Watergate journalist Bob Woodward.
The latest claim comes from Lanny Davis, who served as counsel to former President Bill Clinton and later went on to write a column for The Washington Times. In a radio interview on WMAL, Davis said that a “senior Obama White House official” once called his editor at the Times and said that if the paper continued to run his columns, “his reporters would lose their credentials.”
Davis said he “couldn’t imagine why this call was made” since he’s an Obama supporter.
But he called the alleged threat “unfortunate.”
The account comes after Woodward claimed Wednesday night that a White House aide sent him an email saying he would “regret” his recent reporting on the sequester battle. The aide was not identified, but an official familiar with the exchange told Fox News it was National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling — the tone of the email was rather mixed, as it also included an apology. That was after Woodward wrote a column this past weekend claiming Obama was trying to re-write history — regarding not only whose idea the sequester was, but also how it would take effect.

Why can’t his ‘officials’ making these threats be prosecuted? Surely there is already sufficient evidence for a case?
It can’t happen because of his legions of brain dead, fawning acolytes. The United States of America is full of un-informed easily duped people.
No one – repeat: NO ONE – contradicts, confronts, makes him look bad or puts down Barack Obama. This most recent incident is the latest piece of evidence of that aspect of his personality. First noticed this from a report of his 2008 campaign where a reporter had asked him a hard-edged question that backed Obama into a corner. The reporter was subsequently given the cold shoulder in further encounters.
The scheduled hearing that includes eyewitnesses and CIA agents could indeed become “explosive” as Rep. Gowdey has said, if these individuals tell the truth and expose him and his administration for what it is.
A real Politics post* on the The Interim Report which has been issued contains some stunning statements, such as, “…the accounts given by the Obama administration at the time were misleading — deliberately so.” And: “a CIA draft of talking points for the House intelligence committee was edited at the behest of State Department officials. Omitted were references to previous Benghazi attacks, the al-Qaida affiliate in Benghazi and intelligence estimates of threats in Libya. Also struck, the Interim Report says, were “any and all suggestions that the State Department had been previously warned of threats in the region.”

One other cute point: Hillary Clinton is also pilloried in the report. The RCP post notes that, “Hillary Clinton is leading in polls for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination and general election. It’s always legitimate to examine the performance of a front-runner for the presidency.” And she said, “What difference, at this point, does it make?” What difference, indeed.

I have said from day one that we had assets within 4 hours, this is common knowledge in military circles. Skeeter allowed these Americans to be slaughtered by our sworn enemy.
Sorry Gator, on this you are wrong. Obama did NOT “allow” these Americans to be slaughtered, he “ensured” they would be slaughtered. Make absolutely NO mistake about it. Obama wanted these people to die, and he did everything he could to ensure their death. He could just as well have been there pulling a trigger himself. Make no mistake, Obama places no value on anyones life as his agenda outweighs any value. He will do anything, kill anyone, that he has to in order to further his agenda. Bank on it!
