WASHINGTON (AP) — Starting in about a decade, Kingston, Jamaica, will probably be off-the-charts hot — permanently. Other places will soon follow. Singapore in 2028. Mexico City in 2031. Cairo in 2036. Phoenix and Honolulu in 2043.
And eventually the whole world in 2047.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Define “off-the-charts hot.” This isn’t a “study.” It is speculation based on a model based on assumptions based on an ideology.
And apparently one with limited charting abilities.
No, it’s based on a really bad batch of crack that his hooker left in his sofa
Off the charts stupid. How many will be around to remember this in 2047? Desperation turning into sheer stupidity.
Well, a few people remember the 70’s Ice Age … we dont often get on the front page, but we’re still around.
Doesn’t any of this crap get peer reviewed before it’s published or was this ‘piece’ pulled from, “The Onion”?
It’s all peer reviewed. The writer is an idiot, his peers are idiots, and they review it.
This is what happens when science illiterates make linear projections from oscillatory data
Climate always goes up and down – and thus short-term trends are entirely worthless for long-term projections
What trend? I do not see any trend indicating this claim.
Borenstein is a true wackadoodle.
Sorry for the personal approach but anything I say with my science/engineering background would fall on his deaf ears.
Time to stack up on burgers and beer.
They used 39 climate models. Impressive. I bet if they’d used 78 climate models they could have nailed the impacts down to the day of the month in ’47.
These “climate” models are equivalent to when NFL films says that they used 1000 computer simulations to figure out that the 72′ Dolphins would beat the 78′ Steelers by the score of 24 to 17.
Basically “climate” models should be used for libtard entertainment purposes only.
In the article it states that CO2 mitigation would not prevent the warming expected by 2047 but only delay it until 2069. saying in essence that mitigation is worthless. It makes me wonder if this study was intended to promote the idea of geoengineering? Why else would you admit mitigation isn’t a solution?
“go of the charts” ?
Yes I used to have a printer like that, updated the driver and it was OK.
Invest in Sandwich Boards … NOW !!
ps..
I wonder if these goons realise just how much people are starting to LAUGH at them !!
