I will release it very soon. The year 1900 had the smallest number of cold nights in the US, and 1924 had the highest number. 2014 had the second largest number of nights below 20F.

Not only is NOAA losing temperature stations, but they are also losing an average of about one day a month at the stations which do report. Quantity and quality are both on the decline.
